- This Himalayan village has been my home for the past few days. As my time here comes to a close, I wanted to take the opportunity to say goodbye to the incredible locals who have made this place so special and also give back to the wonderful people in the village. Throughout my time here, I've been welcomed with open arms by the community, and I've learned so much from their way of life. In this video, you'll get to meet some of the wonderful people who have made my stay in the village so memorable. I've been blown away by their kindness and hospitality. As I say goodbye to the village, I can't help but feel a sense of sadness at leaving behind such a special place. But I'm also grateful for the experiences I've had here, and I'm excited to share them with you in this vlog.

Your kindness and generosity brought me to tears......you may not know this but there is a high infant and mother mortality rate among the mountain villages as they can't get to a hospital in time to save them.....hopefully this will be the start of a new life for Kabi and his family and the village too. Rural Nepali people believe that guests are like gods. They serve them with their full potential and treat them with utmost respect. Guests should not leave feeling sad; they strive to satisfy and comfort them to the best of their ability. When guests offer gifts as a token of good hospitality, they accept them, as declining might make the guests feel sad. According to their culture, seeing guests unhappy is considered bad fortune. It’s a Nepali tradition to treat guests with care and kindness, not for money. Everything they do to make guests happy is done wholeheartedly.
