I am about 155cm/5’2 and normally wear a UK 6 / waist 24 or 25 jeans (depending on cut).

I have a big silk wardrobe and just spray the wrinkles with water, except for an initial ironing, if necessary, to get any deeply-set creases out from the manufacturer’s packing and shipping (mostly with scarves, which can have ironed-in folds). Nowadays, I carry a small spray bottle instead of my travel steamer when traveling. Silk dries really fast, too, it’s a great travel fabric. You were smart not to wear your contacts while flying, cabin air is so dry they can become agonizing.
