@@euskraakman1 I agree.. been HG for 20years. But for some reason PG is winning all the new pilots. Maybe in France it’s different and you can still attract new pilots! Bravo!
@@euskraakman1 USA - California. Same issue here.. lots of people in their 50s-70s quitting for health or family reasons. Paragliding is winning. I just started to learn so I’m not flying alone in 10years
They're not all old - I began hang gliding ten years ago in my early 20s ^^. Only reason why people fly paragliders instead is convenience. Nothing more. I know a lot of (younger) paragliding pilots who'd love to fly hang gliders - but simply don't want to put in the efforts (longer learning curve, heavier equipment etc.).
