It's kind of blowing my mind that you did all that hiking after your appendectomy. Did it bother you at any point?
I was remarkably fine, for the most part. The only things that really bothered me was coming down from Cathedral Rock (5.22) because you had to slide down on your butt, which involved bending your body in half, and then any day that involved a _lot_ of walking. I got tired a lot faster than I normally would, and on days that we did a lot of walking, I'd be in a little pain by the end of the day. But overall I can't complain!
I live in Arizona, and I don't understand how anyone can willingly go hiking in the desert part of this state, in May-June. That's like literally on fire territory.
Man I would not have the balls to even go near this place. Just watching the vlog made me feel queasy from the heights.
Yup, no railings there - would have been a little tougher.
There's a Horseshoe Bend in Idaho too. I started to get upset when I saw the vlog title because I thought I'd missed you two when you happened to be farther north... and west than when you were on the previous vlog. Yeah, I never quite made it to actual upset with that logic. :P

Were those people who were with you during the collage section Mal's family or other cool people that were with you and wanted a cool memory of that area, too?
Mal's family! We were with Mark and Rhonda for the first part of the trip, then the rest of Mal's family met up with us once we got to Page (a few days ago). Everyone has been together for these last few videos.
I'm a little confused about how the panoramic shot was taken? It turned out really well and I would love to try it sometime myself.
I think it was done with an app/phone that does panorama with single shots, so it takes one, and waits for you to move over before taking the next.
Then, once they're out of frame, the camera person tells them to go behind the camera, and get on the other side of the line

Also my dad and Rhonda had gone to play tennis this morning and our shoes were in their vehicle - they met up with the rest of the family for the hanging garden trail and we put our shoes on then!

Do you travel to this place JUST to vlog? Or do you go and then decide to vlog your time there?

It was a family trip first and foremost, and it just so happens that Stephen does a daily vlog.
TryclydeTamer I've known he does daily vlogs for months now. I was curious about this specifically.
Mark and Rhonda (Mal's dad and step-mom) take Stephen and Mal on trips sometimes. I think that was generally what this was, but other family members joined in too.
And now I feel like a creeper for knowing that.
They explained it in a previous Q and A but they plan to go on trips but then decide "Hey we are going here, why not vlog it."
They also said that they will do something on that trip because they think it would be good vlog footage but they do it because they want to also.
