    I grew up in Southeast Asia and started Muay Thai during the golden era; back then, knowledge was very regional. Now, with social media, we can access all of it and customize what works for us individually. Aside from history and posterity, the Muay Thai library is a fantastic repository of all this excellent knowledge. Thank you, Sylvie, for creating and making this knowledge accessible to anyone around the world. And yes, I am a subscriber of the Muay Thai library.

    • @8limbsUs

      Muangthai P.K.Saenchai is more punches and elbows. Anuwat Kaewsamrit is another who comes to mind, heavy hands and good elbows.

    P.S.:
    I think filter from 20min mark is the best. A bit dark but I prefer this over the other bright filters. Just open the exposure a little bit and you should be good to go.

      Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu - Muay Thai I’m so narrow minded that I use a Sony Ax-33 for all my action recording for my matches and CZcams channel. Are you having any issues with the auto focus? That’s why I use a camcorder Bc I worry about focus lag. But, the clarity of this video is damn sexy! JUST CLEAN! I never knew of this camera until I asked you. Now I’m covering.

    • @8limbsUs
      @8limbsUs  Před 5 lety

      @@BadWolfMMANashville (I'll have my husband answer, Kevin, as he's the one shooting) -- "The auto-focus is crazy good on this camera, because of its new processor. Just google around and you'll see tests and examples. In this case because of the lighting contrast and the lens being wide open (I'm guessing), there were a couple of targeting issues, and I was changing the frame during the shoot, but that wasn't really lag. I'm still messing with the right target frames for this kind of action."

    • @BadWolfMMANashville
      @BadWolfMMANashville Před 5 lety

      Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu - Muay Thai thank you for the reply Kevin. I dig the old school body of the Fujifilm camera. It seems like the Canons just lag when the processor is trying to acquire the target to focus on. I am super curious to how the camera will film at her fights because the venues have such drastic variances in lighting between the ring to the crowd. Not sure what microphone you are using, but the sound from the session isn't muffled or hallow sounding. Are you cleaning up the original sound in post? Or does the camera just pick it up so nicely? I never realized non camcorders could shoot action like this. I am new to running a channel so I have a lot to learn. 👍🏾👊🏾

    • @BadWolfMMANashville
      @BadWolfMMANashville Před 5 lety

      Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu - Muay Thai Kevin what are you doing for lenses? They can be heavy and expensive. What is needed for filming in fight distance?
