Tip for changing the color of your canvas, rather then adding a layer; if you tap the white box thingy, you can change the color of jt^^

whenever im stumped on ideas i redraw old drawings, it works like a charm! i hope it helps for other people too

Extra tip: if you use a soft/transparent brush as your lineart go to the bucket settings and increase the strength and expansion
Would you mind explaining to me what are the strength and expansion settings? I sometimes lower the strength to 0 to avoid the bucket painting over other similar colors in a drawing but I don't know if there's any other use to it
Small tip! Instead of trying to fill the small holes, use gap recognition! It helps so much! I hope you find this useful 😊

For the gaps thing you can turn on "gap recognition" and then use the bucket :D

To the bucket not working when you have gaps in the work, there’s a button called gap recognition which recognizes the gaps ofc

Also tip I use listening to music, a podcast, a video,✨ anime✨ etc helps me stay focused and happy also sketch it on paper first! when I draw also if you have ocs like me it will be easy to draw since it's your oc also if you want to draw fan art look at the character or whatever you're making fan art of

6:16 clicking on the white box wile its already checked lets you change the color of the canvas without adding a layer and lag
5:44 Orr you could just use the lasso tool to cut the item you want to move then paste it into another layer😊 hope this helps.

On the first hack after setting the stabilizer you should press the button "after" which is next to real time so if your really messing up lines this will help you

5:20 actually, if you want to be really precise with it, you can go onto selection layer, highlight the part which you want to move, then go back onto that layer, cut and paste, then merge that layer with the layer you actually want it on!! you'll need to fill in the colour from the layer you ripped it off of though, so if that bugs you too much dont mind my comment lol
when u r bored, you can just edit ur gacha oc or try editing something you havent got the hang of yet, like fingers and hair and idk stuff to practice your skills

Another tip for drawing in the wrong layer: if you lasso the bit you want to move, cut it and then move to the layer you want it in, paste. :)

The most painful ibis paint thing is choosing a canvas and then the lineart is super pixelated, not smooth and low quality :[[

How i fix the accidental dot thingy on my art if its inside: choose the color of the area its on and color over it, simple!!

For the random little dots, it might be because your side hand might have touched the screen, happens all the time lol

hey gwen! just asking, do you draw with fingers or pen? whats better for ipad/foldable laptop?
i draw with both my finger and pen but honestly it depends on the device, for me, i use my finger when drawing on the phone and pen for when drawing on ipad! since its easier that way xD so yeah i do reccomend using pen on bigger devices such as ipad/foldable laptop since it will be more time-saving. Hope this helps! 💖
