Gotta give credit to Malik's innovative and unmatched skills here, rather than just trying to dismiss it as poor bowling by the bowlers. His stroke play would fit quite well in this day and age of insane T20 shots, yet this was all done in 1987 (some 35+ years ago). Even the great Viv would be proud of such an amazing display of such a range of strokes!
After two three times seeing this innings The mistake did by Kapil dev is the field setting At Kapil bowling all the 4 four r ground shots and there is no fielders at the boundary line so it was to be only ones or two(it is common reply not for you) Nowadays in this kind of match five fielders are at boundary line to save fours although I did not take credit from Salim Malik
