Haha you’re absolutely correct. It’s made with the buddy burger Pattie’s. Up until last June I worked there for 7 years. All new burgers are made with either the teen patty or the buddy patty. The uncle burger if it’s a certain special where you can pick the size. Buddy burger w/cheese add lettuce and tomato is my favourite burger. I’ll have to stop in one night after work and try this one. I love Big Mac sauce. So sounds like I’ll definitely like this one!! Great review!! Sad they didn’t answer!! .
I tried all three: the triple has a lot of meat but it is well seasoned and has a nice grilled taste. I think the best ratio of toppings to meat however, is in the Double one. I'd give the Single 8/10, Double 9/10 and Triple 8.5/10

Just tried it because your review and it was really good! Bought a double but should've gone with the triple tbh haha I would add some bacon and cheese though, juuust to add a bit of flavor but that's it. Very good for the price.
You can probably just ask for the stacker special sauce on the teen burger. You can swap sauces between any burger. I even tried the piri piri sauce on a teen before

They’ve had the 1.6 oz patties ever since they came out with the buddy burgers. 1.6 oz is the typical patty size for every fast food “junior” burger. Teen is 3oz so a double or triple stacker has more meat than a teen.

Three beef patties and no cheese, ridiculous lettuce leaf. That doesn't speak to me much. If I absolutely have to eat at A&W (for example, McDonald's is closed), I'll get the Teen Burger.
Cheddar bacon uncle burger is their best burger. Basically a teen with a 5oz patty instead of 3oz. Usually expensive but I can get a bogo for it on Uber eats the past few months.

I might try this for the secret sauce. Last week I tried a better value at Harvey's with their triple junior burger for only $4.79. It was yummy. I like Harvey's choice of 10 sauces and many veggies.
My only issue with Harvey's is they use those frozen safe way curly paddies u can make a better at home but some other items are okay even the buns are those gold Dempster bums from grosery store

Just tried it because your review and it was really good! Bought a double but should've gone with the triple tbh haha I would add some bacon and cheese though, juuust to add a bit of flavor but that's it. Very good for the price.

a&w's fresh ice berg lettuce and tomato are kinda what set them apart.
The garnish that A&W uses actually slaps. crispy, cool lettuce and juicy tomatoes bring it up a notch for sure.
