That is one of the first things I thought of after the draft when I saw the vid of Jim with Joe and John Alt. Still competing with one another. Come on down, Jerry and John! Hells yes. Even the intimidation factor for players on the other side of the field. Jerry Freaking Rice is watching me.
I am so curious about how this season will play out. It could be some really good building or it could be really good. In any event, it is going to be fun to watch!

Just keep saying it over and over again… there’s a solid, SOLID chance, we get 5 maybe 6 starters out of this draft… think about that… most teams barely get 2 if their lucky… we might get 5… that speaks to our roster shape… by Hart, Rice, and Johnson that late is just criminal… absolutely criminal… and the best linebacker in the draft in Colson falling to us in the 3rd is just chefs kiss on top… best draft I’ve ever seen as a Chargers fan… I didn’t get to see the Brees and LT draft… I’m 31 and became a fan right after got drafted when I was like 12-13 something like that… this draft was insane and Hortiz may be an even better hire than Harbaugh which is saying something crazy…

Howdy Guys ! Always nice to get your opinion about the team. As a long time fan, I still approach the season w/baited breath. Hoping for the best, & dreading what may happen. Hahaha!!! May all these young men shine. Not only for Chargers, but any other team's that will pick them up, should they not make this one. Keep on keeping on...
Yes I'm really rooting for all these draft picks to make it. Never really paid attention to our late round draft picks especially the 5th through 7th. I'm really wondering how many receivers we are keeping on the roster.

What happened to our practice squad? Like Andrew Farmer, etc. they have had one year of experience under their belt, maybe one of them can come up and join the offensive or defensive lines etc.
Brenden Rice never lived under the same roof as his Father, Jerry Rice. He was raised by his mother and actually was coached early on, (high school etc.) by his stepfather.
Honestly, kinda doubt if Jerry Rice will be coming around the Chargers facilities at all.
