didn’t need to put worship in the title bro, we saw the bigsky and the two iridiums
LOL 😅
This is my dream worship pedalboard. That bigsky is amazing. Ill never afford it tho. Beautiful board. Im very jealous of it.
Wow nice pedalboard! Love the neatness 😄
Thanks man! 🙌🏻
interesting pedalboard. I also once had this little clone of a clone😄
It's a great little pedal!
@@SamWittekI would say it's more than great. Considering the price, it is absolutely phenomenal.
What kind of patch cables are you using?
Sweet pedalboard! Where did you buy the large pot wheel for the Strymon El Capistan? I’ll been all over the web to find this type.
Thanks! I actually bought the el cap from a friend and he already had installed the large knob. Not sure where he got it from 😅
I love how the layout doesn’t match the chain at all, but you’ve still made it look so clean. Is there a reason you had the bottom row go in reverse (left to right)? The only thing I can thing of is that you prefer the volume with your right foot…
Yep! A few reasons. One is definitely that I like to use the VP with my right foot. I also like to organize my most-tapped pedals right around my volume pedal, since usually I'm making multiple changes in a small break, and will always need to swell my volume back in when I'm ready. So organizing things like the boost, tap tempo, etc right next to the volume pedal is super convenient. The length of my patch cables also dictates the layout too to some extent (until I can grab a few more long ones 😅)
That's how I like to setup my analog pedalboard also❤
Main reason I went with FAS AX-8 as I was tap dancing too much. Lol😅
Bro how much u spend on this board!?
Nice pedalboard, what pedalboard do you use? I've seen only pedaltrain and others, but basicly are the same, yours looks different man
Thanks man! This is a Temple Audio Duo 24
God’s gear👌
Sick idea using two iridium’s! I love that, do you run in parallel or A/B?
Thanks man! Yep they're running together, hard panned to the L and R. Adds so much width!
How much?
В России одна любая педаль из этого педалборда - это зарплата учителя или врача. Mooer считается дорогими и престижными педалями.
В Америке это тоже дорого, но китайские подделки это тоже неплохой вариант
How is that El Castpian? I just bought one and want some feedback on it from other worship players
The El Capistan is SO good. It was my staple delay for probably 7-8 years
@@SamWittek thanks so much!
So stereo out from el cap and bigsky?
Yep!
I have all my drives AFTER my volume... Maybe I should change that?
It's totally a personal preference thing! Definitely no right or wrong way to do it. For me personally, I like to run my drives before the volume pedal so that I keep all of my overdrive characteristics as I'm swelling in
What’s different between timeline and el capistan
The el capistan just does tape delay. The timeline does tape delay as well as a bunch of other options, and generally has a lot more functionality like presets and midi (at a higher price). Hope that helps!
why volume pedal after distortions? Just wondering
I prefer to swell in with an already overdriven signal. Just a preference thing!
what is the use of Disco +?
It basically acts as a DI, but it doesn't drop your signal like other traditional DIs. It keeps your signal super clear and strong when you're sending your signal out of your board and into the FOH console wherever you're playing
Hey! What would you recommend to someone just starting out playing? I recently inherited a few Boss Pedals and have no idea what I should get on a budget.
Hey Andrew! My question would be what genre will you mostly be playing? Will you be playing mainly worship music at church? If so, I feel like the highest priorities would be an overdrive pedal (or two), a delay pedal, and a reverb pedal. Boss actually has some great budget options. Their Blues Driver and Super Overdrive are great for overdrive options. I'd also highly recommend their RV-5 reverb pedal. Sounds amazing and is super cheap. Other good budget options to look into would be the JHS 3 series pedals. You can get any of those used for cheap and they are very high quality. Hope that helps!
@@SamWittek this helps a ton thank you! Mostly the genre would be Christian and country I'd be playing. I was loaned a delay pedal by TC called The Prophet and have enjoyed the pedal, I will checkout the RV-5
Hey I just ordered the iridium a week ago and I would like to know how well it takes the pedals? Do you connect to a DI and direct to a mixer?
How did you mount the zuma?
I initially had it mounted underneath with the temple plates, but recently swapped it for velcro, so it's just velcro'd underneath at the moment
You could've got the walrus ACS1 if you want to run dual amps
Yup! I've already tried the ACS1 and the iridium felt better to me. Although the new ACS1 2.0 update has got me super interested 👀
@@SamWittek How's the ACS1 compared to iridium?
@@waltuhhimself It's a little hard for me to say now, they've improved it a TON with their firmware updates so it's in a much different place now compared to when I had it a couple years ago. Back when I had it, I preferred the way the iridium took drives, but like I said they've made some big improvements so I'd actually love to test it out again
How’s that Moskey treating you
I'm a big fan! For being only like $30 it sounds great
I got the silver Horse and it sounds amazing as well.
What size temple board?
Not sure of the exact dimensions but it's the Duo 24!
Doesn't the volume pedal darken your tone when alsosending the signal to the tuner.?
I haven't really noticed any significant tone suck with it
@@SamWittek do you use buffers in your chain?
@@chipcaronte I've actually been borrowing one the past couple of weeks that is GREAT. Considering grabbing one to add to the board
@@SamWittek well, thanks for your reply! I'm beginning to scratch the surface on pedal effects and asking for other people's experience has helped me a lot. As of know I only have a Digitech RPx400 and an MXR Super Badass Distortion. I'm planning on replacing the Digitech modules one at a time, waiting for a Behringer compressor and a Boss Volume pedal to arrive. So there I go.
All this machinery making modern music
Can still be open-hearted.
Not so coldly charted, it's really just a question
Of your honesty, yeah, your honesty.
Great song
Total cost? $4000?
Not sure about the total cost but definitely nowhere near $4k. I've been slowly piecing this together for nearly a decade, buying used and sniping good deals
@@SamWittek yea I have no clue. I don’t even play But I know the iridium is $400 and there are two of them. If each of those pedals is $200 to $300 it adds up but it makes a bunch of sense since you’ve been piecing it together. I do sound for my church and I’ve just recently started making purchase decisions about stuff like this. My pastor likes to buy new from Sweetwater so my idea of pricing is skewed from that.
Ah gotcha, yeah I buy virtually everything used. Even with the Iridiums they've dropped in price to where you could easily get 2 of them for $500ish@@c.s.5177
The big sky is 500 😂
Are Temple boards only for worship music?😂
Haha you do tend to see them a lot for worship guitarists 😂 I don’t have mine anymore though, I have a MONO board now!
I like your board a lot super 🧼
It’s so crazy I have a pod go four snapshots that change everything all at once and I can’t imagine 😅dancing around to get totally different sounds after owning the pod go
Thanks man! Haha yeah I get that, I’ve actually been looking into MIDI for the last week or so, so that’ll probably help with some of the tap dancing 😅
