Nothing wrong with slow cars! As someone that spends most of their play time in custom races, theres always interesting races to be had (if the AI is in the mood). I'd rather have slow oddballs over vision gts.
Personally, I think the vehicles in GT7 that may not be as good of driver’s cars, can shine in other places, such as enjoying them in Photo Mode, Scapes, VR walk around, etc. admiring them as an art form. The vehicles that fall into this category maybe low on mileage driven, but that does not mean they are not being enjoyed, just enjoyed differently.

Firstly, don't get me wrong... 😂 But don't you think that the lack of use for the cars is more a lack of content, races and championships to include these and many other cars in the game? If PD had made some new race categories we could have some purpose to use most of the cars in the game...
I think theres 2 cars in particular I want to point out. The Toyota I disagree with being a worst car because you can tune it to feel oddly like a real sports car. Not to mention its 4WD capabilities with dirt and recently snow races. Its been a very fun car to try in the snow. And the comedic opportunities are there with it too. Sliding in the snow in a fedex van is hilarious. And The Gr4 Mazda 3 I wholeheartedly agree with being a worst but oddly cuz its too good. It broke gr4 for a bit and while I was hoping for a competent front wheel drive, I didn't want it to be literally overpowered. Albeit now its a bit more understood and while its still powerful it doesn't seem to be as bad as it used to.
A good list and these cars were disappointing mainly because it is known how long it takes to develop a car to put into GT7, so they all feel like they are taking space that could have been used for cars the community have wanted for ages
Underrated comment. It's so time consuming to model each car for the game at the quality that GT7 offers, that it ends up being a waste of time and resources to model meme cars (Alphard and Himedic), duplicates or cars that simply are boring. The VGTs get a bit of different treatment, given that Polyphony has to accept what the manufacturer gives them as their VGT project (that's the whole point). But adding a random Mazda 3 (not even an MPS version that can compete with existing hot hatchbacks), or a Toyota Alphard (not even the Ford Transit Supervan or the Renault Espace F1), over almost anything the players actually asked for, makes no sense. We are still waiting for entire brands to make their debut in GT, others make a return, and here it is PD making weird additions instead. A quirky car here and there would be a lot more acceptable, if PD managed to release nearly 100 cars per year. Unfortunately, we don't even get half of those.
Actually, the Mazda 3 GR.4 car is a real car. Its essentially the Mazda3 Bio Concept that raced in Super Taikyu Series this year (Much like how the Aston Martin Vantage GR.4 car is basically the Vantage GT4). Sure the wing isn't on the real car but you can just take it to GT Auto and equip the actual wing it raced with.
Why won’t GT7 add some nice newer imsa cars e.g. Cadillac, Porsche, Acura? Licensing issues? And how about a new track like Road America? So frustrating!
Happy holidays! I doubt that I am unique in my thinking, but quite honestly… There is no such thing as a “useless vehicle” in any game… Especially in any of the Gran Turismo series games. To me, the allure of Gran Turismo has always been the idea of “driving your car“… So, a lot of these oddball entities that people think would be useless on the track are more opportunities to offer gamers the chance to drive a car that they may happen to have come across in real life, or even have owned. For me, I don’t need a specific event/reason/excuse to drive the car… I love that any of these cars are there, and if I really wanted to, I can thankfully now go into a lobby and create one… Or, just have a go at it at any of the given races within where it might qualify for entry. I reckon we need more modern racing cars. We have lots of 2010 era GT cars but not that many 2020s ones. I really want to see a 992 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup or GT3R
It's sad that in the entire game the Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo is only one electric car worth having for endurance events 😬 It is capable of doing at least 5 laps on the Sardegna 800pp endurance race, which is an improvement compared to the 1 lap of other electric cars 😅 You just have to configure several car settings so that it reaches 800 pp and it still has more than enough power 😋
Really??? I had started avoiding driving EVs for the world touring events because of how bad the miles per watt is for those vehicles. Even worse, it seems that PD just plain forgot to put a separate consumption rate for EVs, making them worthless for any sort of realistic race.

With the acceptation of the VGT’s not having interior views which is unacceptable, you have just taken all of the quintessentially grand torismo cars like the vans and daily drivers and bashed them… this is the core problem GT7 has not the devs or the publisher but its own sick deranged community who in one breath ask for daily drivers and in the next trash them for being added the vans are both awesome at 600pp the Mazda was always fine at 600pp it’s the only 4 rotor with 4WD

If you put a 5.8 litre V8 .Something quite different .Such a car did exist and got banned due to being uncompetetive in a fast way .A 68 VW hatchback with quad cams . What bought both cars down were a rule change of CAMS that regulated that a car's engine position had to be mounted to it's standard position .Previously both these cars had the engine position forward of the final drive .That had a good weight displacement .Would engine position be a posible option for Gran Tourismo ?
what angered me about a lot of car additions this year, was that of all the really cool cars that were data mined, they chose to give us complete crap, i mean, i love me wacky cars, but when you have the rs6, the delta s4 rally, the lotus elise and tons of other really cool cars in the data mines, and they give us absolute turds that no one will drive very often like an ambulance, a tesla, vgt's and overall crappy cars, you don't appreciate them
all the R32'S and NISSAN SILVIA'S ARE REALLY GOOD. but ur right about most of the other one's. THE TESLA 3 IS PRETTY DECENT IF U USE IT OCCASIONALLY. TUNED UP
Any VGT goes straight to the 'worst cars' list because they're pure fantasy. They don't exist, or, like Bugatti, they make a single example which is a design exercise only. You can't buy one, can't drive one, and they can be powered by unobtanium or any other fantasy propulsion. Utter nonsense and a waste of programming and development time. I saw the R32 Nismo as the single R32 GT-R that *should* be in the game, using the wheels that the vast majority of the 43,000+ cars rolled out on. Plus, it has the body kit as used by the Group A race cars. Apart from the annoying chime above 100 km/h in cockpit view, it us magnificent. I agree about the inclusion of the Mazdas. Just vanilla vehicles.
I'll have to disagree with most of the cars in the top 10. Mostly cause, yer reason has been: "it's not fast enough" The point of these cars aren't quick laptimes. But having fun driving em. Many of the cars in the top 10 I came to enjoy. Apart from the tesla. But overall, they are different to the norm. It's no point having another fast car if its like everything else. Older GT games worked well cause of the selection of so many variants and out of place vehicles. Out of 1200 cars in GT6 nearly 350 of em were fun for being different.
Are you insane? The Citroen DS? One of the most beautiful cars in the world... ever! GT7 calls itself the 'real driving simulator' not the real racing simulator. Take the DS out for a jaunt around the Nurburgring, just for fun, it's a beautiful drive! :) Dissing on the Alphard and Himedic too? What? Where is your sense of fun? GT always had oddball entries and lots of normal road cars - it was never just about the Gr.x race cars until GT Sport. Variety is the spice of life. Embrace it. Drive them to enjoy them. Make your own fun. :) For me the worst will always be the VGT cars. I'd rather have real cars, old and new, added to the game than these often outlandish and ugly designs.

I think the Mazda3 isn't the worst car in GT7. I got it in my garage, and drove the thing most of the time. Great interior, decent specs, all from a great brand by the name Mazda. This car reminds me of the night. In real life, i love the car also. I also live its startup sound. I also have the Tesla M3 in my garage and upgraded it. That gift car was also acquired by me.
I don't know if it's the game or my wheel, but all evs and hybrids require me to pump the brakes coming out a corner before I can step on the gas. They are all useless.
I dont really have a list for the top 10 worst cars of 2023, but i do have an awful experience with the 1st place... I bought one before the movie came out (didnt buy it when it came out) coz theres an event in my city which uses the GTR GT3 as time trial to celebrate the movie. Then when the movie came out, i grabbed the free one as well, since i dont have that livery, i thought its a nice addition to my garage anyway, as i now have 2 liveries and moved on. But whats the worst is the 6 stars ticket from the GT Sport thanksgiving, i got the Jann's GTR GT3 OUT OF THE 6 STARS ROULETTE TICKET and i was pissed af. Like honestly u can give me ANYTHING but my 3rd GTR GT3? Hell nah man But yea it shouldnt have been marked as a new car, should only be mentioned in the patch note imo
Anyone else not able to put the Chiron engine into anything. I have a Nissan GTR untuned and I won a Chiron engine on roulette. But can not marry them up. Yes level 50 etc. Just says not available. Even in my garage it won't let me apply it. 🤷♂️
The Infiniti Concept VGT is absolute garbage in my opinion. Keep in mind that I rate cars on how well they can grind at Le Mans and Spa. This car is all over the place no matter the set up or tire choice. I would say it has enough power to win Le Mans in a close race but it's handling just isn't fun. I expected more from it and the fact that it's a hybrid totally negates itself. I wish we could do something about all the hybrids because after a lap or two you'll always be down on power because the battery is already dead. Maybe the ability to adjust the amount of battery used would help or a simple on/off toggle so you could save the extra power for when you need it. I generally stick with and compare all cars to the R34 GT-R V spec ll Nur '02 and the Mazda3 '19, both with the engine swap. At Le Mans You can put intermediate tires on either, never pit and lap the field. Doesn't even matter that the tires are completely used up, whether it rains or not, they just keep going and have a 1/4 tank of fuel or more at the end of the race. They're honestly the only cars I need at any race below 850pp that allows them to be used. Not sure what you have against that mazda 3. It's a beast at 889 bhp, intermediate tires and no set up required other than a little extra front downforce.
I REALLY REALLY dont understand Why Kaz / Polyphony Dont put the Different Version of the Mazda RX 7 in the Game ESPECIALLY the Race Car that like weighs 1100 kg and has 500 HP

Citroens are those cars, which translate wery badly into racing games. Fancy suspesion? Not for racing. Turning lights? A)GT doesn't simulate that, as it would ask for mere effort, than just making gorgeus model B)has litlle utility in the game. Fancy interior and overal wonkiness? Does it make it faster? No, than thank you. In RL, for the price, nothing beats comfort of C5 with hydropneumatic with nice diesel in long road.

For me It could enter the SRT Tomahawk X, it's a nice car but you can't use it in almost any race which makes it a really bad car

Anyone else not able to put the Chiron engine into anything. I have a Nissan GTR untuned and I won a Chiron engine on roulette. But can not marry them up. Yes level 50 etc. Just says not available. Even in my garage it won't let me apply it. 🤷♂️
The Infiniti Concept VGT is absolute garbage in my opinion. Keep in mind that I rate cars on how well they can grind at Le Mans and Spa. This car is all over the place no matter the set up or tire choice. I would say it has enough power to win Le Mans in a close race but it's handling just isn't fun. I expected more from it and the fact that it's a hybrid totally negates itself. I wish we could do something about all the hybrids because after a lap or two you'll always be down on power because the battery is already dead. Maybe the ability to adjust the amount of battery used would help or a simple on/off toggle so you could save the extra power for when you need it. I generally stick with and compare all cars to the R34 GT-R V spec ll Nur '02 and the Mazda3 '19, both with the engine swap. At Le Mans You can put intermediate tires on either, never pit and lap the field. Doesn't even matter that the tires are completely used up, whether it rains or not, they just keep going and have a 1/4 tank of fuel or more at the end of the race. They're honestly the only cars I need at any race below 850pp that allows them to be used. Not sure what you have against that mazda 3. It's a beast at 889 bhp, intermediate tires and no set up required other than a little extra front downforce.
I feel like many of these cars are in game because of the need of the developers to ad japanese cars at al costs
Gran turismo 7 needs a customized license plate fixed to each car accurately not just decals plate's.....
I wouldnt say that GTR is the worst,same with the Mazda 3 but Tesla and VGTs are. The ambulance and the Aplhard make some cool service veihcles tho

Citroens are those cars, which translate wery badly into racing games. Fancy suspesion? Not for racing. Turning lights? A)GT doesn't simulate that, as it would ask for mere effort, than just making gorgeus model B)has litlle utility in the game. Fancy interior and overal wonkiness? Does it make it faster? No, than thank you.
In RL, for the price, nothing beats comfort of C5 with hydropneumatic with nice diesel in long road.
