Chinese like to review the history when they are encountering with certain situations, and the current geopolitical situation is quite similar with the period before WWII, economy went down filled with inflation, right wing leaders came up to the stage with mouthful disrespects to others, the collective-west harvested from the global south, and plus we now have possibly the most warmongering country in history that still keeps setting fire all over the world, just like what Xi said, profound changes unseen in a century.

Your question sounded simple yet so deep…question on history might be able to predict political futures…why do people not studying it more carefully? In my humble opinion, it’s almost like the desire for pie vs cake. Some like cake but not pie, and vice versa. They’re both really sweet, yet there’s a clear preference. I felt like American schools taught us the pie version and not the cake version. Therefore, it seemed very unreasonable and unrealistic for our students to see any favors in cakes. Is it a stupid thing to do to our students? Well, it’s all depends on whether you like pie or not. It’s almost unanswerable Dr. O. You’re so wise. I just thought I throw you a mind twisting idea just to keep you smiling. Love your videos.
