Tahuli is one of the spot which is not very crowded, that's what makes it even more beautiful. Not much of the people know about this location, so it is less explored.
Tahuli is misunderstood as a fort but, actually, Tahuli Mountain contains pinnacles.
The Tahuli mountain ranges are surrounded by the green lush, dense forest. And the trekkers cannot avoid the scenic beauty of beautiful green carpet while walking between the flowers on the walkway.
Though the mountains are a bit difficult to reach but once you make to the top, it's nothing less than paradise.
From the top, you get beautiful view of Kalyan, Badlapur, Ambarnath, Dadimaa Tahuli, Tahuli Peak, Ganesh Kartik Pinnacle, Panch Peer, Chanderi Fort, Mhaismal, Navra Navri Pinnacle, Nakhind Ridge, Peb Fort, Matheran, etc.
How to reach Tahuli from Mumbai / Pune / Kalyan :
1) Reach Kalyan Station which is well connected with Mumbai and Pune.
2) Just opposite Kalyan station, you will find Kalyan ST Stand. Go to the ST stand and ask anyone for Malanggad bus. There is a bus going to Malanggad every 30-40 minutes.
3) Hop out of the bus at Kushivali village which is before Malanggad. The trek starts from Kushivali village.
Cost:
1) Mumbai to Kalyan: ~ ₹30 (return ticket)
2) Kalyan to Kushivali (base village) via ST bus: ~ ₹40-50 (return ticket)
3) Kalyan to Kushivali (base village) via shared cab: ~₹100 (with return)
