  • After taking my last final on Wednesday all I wanted to do was relieve my stress and take my baby (my car) out for a ride.
    Considering the fact that it was already two in the afternoon I knew nothing much was left, so I began planning an adventure for Thursday given the fact that It was my day off at my second job.
    Luckily for me, Thursday is the day I know the most routes throughout Southern California. So I began looking at all the endless possibilities I had. I didn't want to go to LA or Orange County because I really didn't want to deal with traffic so I decided to choose the Inland Empire. I've had my eye on Menifee for well over a year and was debating if I should make the hike up there until I noticed something.... Moreno Valley.... Menifee.... Murrieta. They're all cities serviced by WM that start with an "M." Suddenly a brilliant idea went off in my head. "How about I do a video showcasing one truck from each one of those cities." and I can call it "M3" The three M's of Riverside County. I instantly loved the idea.
    So the following morning, I woke up at 4am, (just as if I was going to my second job) hoped in my car and drove up to Moreno Valley to get there just in time as collection started 6am and worked my way down south to Murrieta where I finished for the day before having to report to my other job at 1pm.
    This honestly couldn't have worked out more perfect. I was able to get in and out of each city within two hours giving myself time to drive between cities, make some pit stops, and make my hike back down to San Diego.
    Overall I was very pleased with the footage, I was disappointed that I couldn't get the same driver I filmed the trash in when I was in Murrieta back in October, but that'll be hopefully for next time. Since now I have to make individual videos for each city, so I'll definitely be back to those cities in the near future to complete the overall project.
    I really enjoyed driving around and exploring the cities. On top of that the whole day I couldn't stop believing that:
    1) it's almost June
    2) it's been three years since I graduated from High School
    3) I'm starting at State next semester to finish my major
    4) that I've achieved the course material required to be a listing/sale agent in California (just need to take the California State Exam)
    5) that for the first time in 3 years I won't be attending summer school to get ahead in my coursework and requirements for my Bachelor's degree.
    To tell you all the truth I feel so, relieved, free, and proud of myself right now. You can say that this video marks the beginning to a quite exciting summer for me. A lot is to come in these next three months for myself and I'm really looking forward to it.
    I hope you all enjoy the video.

    Love rewatching these till this day! Haha, @9:37 Republic Services (Anaheim) is passing out those type of Rehrig carts. Saw about 7 today on the Friday route in Yorba Linda & was shocked to see they would even purchase these. My thought would be that they are testing them out to see if they are more durable due to all the carts that have been damaged by the Rapid Rails.

    Great looking trucks! Second Amrep was real nice, love the refurbished trucks. Surprised none of the other guys hauled like 103870 did. Did you find any Autocars in any of the three cities? Great video!

    • @TheTrashman97
      @TheTrashman97  Před 8 lety

      Yes, there's an autocar that runs in Menifee and also two that run in Murrieta.

    Way to go brother!! Your doing a great job with all you have going on and most definitely with these trucks you filmed. Is there a lot of variety in these cities as far as trucks or does WM run pretty much the same ones? These trucks are pretty sleek. Keep on with the positivitey and recordings.

    • @TheTrashman97
      @TheTrashman97  Před 8 lety

      WM pretty much runs the same ones. There isn't much variety as there was some five-ten years ago.
