After trying this again, it dropped to about 40w grid idle (no load, powersave disabled). Not sure why. But this is now good.
Unfortunately ATC still doesn't automatically switch over with powersave enabled.

I have inverter growatt spf 6000 es plus... stby power consumption is only around 40-50 watts

I hope mine can do that too. Do you have the setting 06 power save enabled or disabled?

You are wrong, I just saw a video of an Australian guy measuring idle consumption, he got around 70W!

Hopefully the growatt UI is wrong, still not great as it means their statistics can't be trusted. I get 70w idle battery-only, this here is grid-only though, has he also got 70w grid-only?

Put a clamp meter on and verify the reading is accurate

    1.4Amps @ battery power = +/-70watt standby power

The left side showing 1.6A in is grid AC in though. Battery power is at the bottom of the screen, oscillating between in and out (it does the same when the battery is disconnected). No load connected.

Put a clamp meter on ac and battery cable to verify readings.
