Nah for my personal scale average is more like a 6.5, probably because I only even consider looks when it's people within 10 years of my age and who I could potentially be attracted to. So yeah technically some old fat guy would def get a 2 from me but that's cause I'm obviously not attracted to him and don't see him as competition either. I would lowkey take offense if someone within my rough age group said I was a 5.

Exactly. I usually just rank people a 5 if they're not conventionally attractive but not horrible to look at because that's what average means. I've been told on multiple occasions I rank around a 6 to close to a 7 and my brother is way better looking than me so I can usually do a good evaluation of looks scale.
Noone is a 10. I Think 9 and 8 you’re a model with almost perfect facial symmetry, 7 is really good looking, 6 is abit above average 5 is Bang average, 4 is a bit below average but still in The average range, three is bad looking, 2 is ugly and you might have a disability making you look worse, noone’s a 1.
I would put myself at a 4.
To me, 7 is notably attractive, 8 is VERY attractive, 9 is fucking hot, and 10 is the most attractive person to ever walk the earth.

Yeah its called a bell curve or a normal distribution. So the average of people would be 5 and 1 and 10 would be extreme outliers. Normally in statistics you use 95% as within "normal" so only 2.5% of the entire population can be a 10. Its like seeing a freaking unicorn.

I do not understand the ranking scale. It should go further than 10 I think. Because the people we put at 6,7’s just because they’re not ugly but they’re not a 10… it’s too loosey goosey. The first woman is not attractive at all to me, I would say “objectively she’s a 5 but to me she’s a 1” because I don’t find pale, dark haired women attractive. Definitely more partial to tan, blonde, beachy women (and I’m str8)
