Today I read the comments on a video where a Christian artists talked about God instead of sang. I often read the comments and I noticed this 14 year old child was asking for prayer because he was fighting addiction and it was messing with his studies. It broke my heart for I was a 12 year old boy when I got started on drugs. So I replied to his comment and as I was commenting I realized that I have not been walking in God's purpose for me. So after I sent my comment I came in to my living room where I have on Trinity Broadcasting Network. I had the TV on mute and I could see Pastor Franklin preaching and my first thought was I'm not going to listen to him and started to change the channel and this still small voice in my head said it is the devil that wishes you not to listen to him. So I unmuted my television. He was preaching on the many manifestations of praise. Using the piano as a reference to the different levels of praise. Now some people believe in coincidence. I however believe in the power of God. Even though what the preacher was preaching on was not the same as the kid that was on drugs. My role as a Christian man came into play in both scenarios. Being a servant of the god most high comes into play in both scenarios. Because as the pastor pointed out not only praising God by singing or raising your hands or dancing or kneeling before god is a way of praise also being a servant not only to God but to those around me. I am a 60 year old man and I have fought drug addiction all my life so who better to minister 2 a 14 year old child. One other thing that really bothers me. I mean it disturbs my spirit to no end. My friend who lives in Colorado wants me to come see him and I live in Texas. Now we both profess Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. Yeah he sent me a text and said some vulgar things about feeding his sexual desires for women. When I corrected him and told him that fornication is a sin and separates us from God's Kingdom. He told me that I was taking myself way too serious and that I needed to quit trying to earn my way to heaven and Let Jesus dying on the cross do that for me. Oh so I pointed out where the Apostle Paul said that we should repent from that behavior and that the kingdom of God was at hand. Apparently he believes that because we are saved that we can do whatever we want whenever we want with who we want and how we want and that God still blesses Our Lives. Anyway I'm not really confused about God's teachings because it's in black and white. However I am confused about going and spending three or four days hanging out with my lifelong friend. It's almost like we're unevenly yoked even though we believe in the same God.

Great message. I have lived it personally. What my parents instilled in me as a little boy is what called out to God when I was lost in gangs and alcohol and drugs.
Hear the voices of our children, Lord! Hear the cry of the mothers, Lord! Save these young adults, return them to You for Your glory!! You have promised and You deliver!! Hallelujah!

@@Rev1960-i2r agreed Amen, i am praying though that understanding scripture is in depth and I do not want to sprinkle GODs word haphazardly but effectively opening the eyes to HIS people & to those who have turned a cheek to GOD that I be lead to speak in and thru right alignment of understanding scripture...Amen..as I have pressed in, my eyes have been restored and to further go deeper its the covering i pray for. @@Rev1960-i2r I have a mentor. That doesnt mean I depend on my mentor. But mentor helps give me wisdom, shows me things I may not see in myself that need to be pointed out, helps train and coach me in maturity in the Lord and ministry - mentors are very helpful. Holy Spirit is ultimate Counselor and Teacher, yes, but we have the Body of Christ for a reason. We help each other.

In GOD's Kingdom there is no such thing as an Elite Christian if you pay $300. Talk about 'class' distinction. If you don't have $300,then you are a 'plebiscite'. That's a turn off. It's judgemental. You cannot buy Faith. You cannot buy your way into heaven. There is no price on Faith.
