Thanks so much sir for the wonderful explanation. I would also like to request a way to connect two or more amplifiers to a single mixer. I would really love that. Thanks sir
Hello Kelvin thanks for your videos. Could you recommend a mixer for my purposes: octophonic speaker setup + subs? Music will be spatialised sometimes through software in Ableton, other times through diffusion. Thank you 🙏
Thank you ❤. Please can you do a video on connecting drum mics and vocals to mixer, to 1equalizer, to 1crossover and to 1 amplifier, to speakers and get a good sound quality.
Hi Kelvin, plz can u do a video on how to do a group compression on the MGP32X, i noticed the MGP32X does not have a 'Group Insert' just like u did for this MG32. Thank u
Great info!! i have a question, i purchased an Yamaha MPG32fx that dont has an foot switch input for muting the fx section when you need to talk without reverb or delay. So my workaround would be to assign the vocal to subgroup 1 , then assign the Fx1 & Fx2 to this subgroup and disable output to main. On the console the subgroup out to an channel and in the insert of the subgroup i attach the foot switch, would that work? cheers from Switzerland
Can you show me how you connect the cables to the amplifier for the method. My confusion is do i need different amplifier for groupings and another for main stereo output?
do the individual channels have to be panned HARD left or right, like 100% either way? because even though i have mono sources, i still have some set to different amounts like, synth #1 panned left 20%, guitar panned right 50%, etc.
Thanks for the lessons, but when you're running a mono group, and you pan signals which u want to be sent to either group 1 or 2, won't the panning affect the channel in the main mix
Yes, you can. However, you have to be careful with the way the group busses are routed. If you send the vocals to multiple groups and then route those groups to the main output, you might have feedback issues.
Thanks bro..and God bless you.... My own request is to help us shed light on "Direct Output" , "Sub Output" and "2Tr" on Mixer...the functions and what we can actually used them for.... And Also if you dont mind sir... I will love to have your mobile contact sir
2tr or 2-track is mainly to connect to an mp3 player to play music like for preshow. direct out can be used for many purposes, such as connecting all channels to an audio interface separately, duplicating a track, or even to send to a rack unit if you don't have inserts.
I understand sir,but my questions is ,those group assigned,by the time I control group one with its fader, will the effect be felt also on the auxiliaries, or it's only on the main left and right,I will appreciate ur WhatsApp number sir,so I can explain myself with voice notes, thanks sir
@@adamsonstudio7930 Sorry, I didn’t properly understand the question initially. The group bus can only be sent to the main L-R outputs. There’s no way to send it to the auxiliaries, hence, it doesn’t work for auxiliaries. You can chat me up on Facebook messenger or send me a DM on Instagram. Check the “about” session of my channel for links.
Also According to what you explained if you assigned the channel into mono group... Will you be able to pan your input ...E.g toms or background vocals in opposite direction? Please help us out sir
Great! Thanks! You explain things in minutes that takes other reviewers a whole episode to explain- and your explanation is clearer and more logical!

Which function of signal when you use aux
Good day brother, I hope you’re well. Is there mixers that have send buttons group 1, group 2, group 3, group 4, instead of Grp 1-2, Grp 3-4?
Does the Group function work the same as DCA?

Can i group my subs to group outputs....if not please I need guidance
Thanks for the lessons, but when you're running a mono group, and you pan signals which u want to be sent to either group 1 or 2, won't the panning affect the channel in the main mix
It will. So, you shouldn't send the signal directly to the main mix. Send it to the group bus, and then route the group to the main mix.
Can I send the lead vocal's mic to multiple groups at the same time without getting any feedback or any issues at all?
Yes, you can. However, you have to be careful with the way the group busses are routed. If you send the vocals to multiple groups and then route those groups to the main output, you might have feedback issues.

You can only group your input channels. Auxiliaries cannot be grouped.

Is it actually bad to assign channel strips to two buses.....like 1&2 3&4
No it’s not. Just be sure you know what you’re doing.

What is the purpose of the PAN
Paning is turning the sound left or right, when u hear it me or from left or right
Also According to what you explained if you assigned the channel into mono group... Will you be able to pan your input ...E.g toms or background vocals in opposite direction? Please help us out sir
