    I stumbled across 6 of these at my local fish store and bought them all (just got off the phone with them, ordering 6 more!). They'll likely need some growing out before being ready to breed but I found your video extremely helpful, especially the local climate details! Thank you!

    What types of live food do you feed the fry and adults?

    • @fishgeek
      @fishgeek  Před 3 lety

      Thanks for the questions, I will tend to feed the fry micro worms and then brine shrimp. Adults are not fussy and will take nearly any live food white worms, black worms blood worm all go down well.
      I will look to do these species on future episodes 👍

    Some great information...I finally found someone online who had these so I ordered 4. That will make my 9th species of cory in my 55g denison barb tank. I've got 20 corys so I should call it my cory collection. Big bioload I know but I run 2 seachem tidal 110s so I'm pretty sure the bioload is covered. I've got hard water here in Florida. The ph is a little lower because I've got driftwood, live plants and it's a mature tank, but I'm a bit concerned on the hardness. Other than acclimating for a little longer adding tank water slowly, any pro tips to make acclimating better?

  • @dientrung9948

    Do you have any recommendations for Cory species that thrive in temperatures of 25C and over?
    I run my tank at 25C currently.
    Changed my sand up to the Barlows Trading stuff as per your suggestion in a previous comment looks really good and fish appear happy with it.
    Thanks!

    • @fishgeek

      Most corydoras will be fine at 25c. Have a look on our website www.planetcorydoras.com and all species are listed with temp

    • @fishgeek

    How often do they breed ?

    • @fishgeek
      @fishgeek  Před 3 lety +1

      They can breed every week when they are in season, mine will tend to breed like this for about 4 weeks then have a break for a month or so. When out of season they might go 6 months or so with no breeding
