    Love this!!! You make everything inspiring and enjoyable. I found this helpful and interesting and I have been making cards for over 19 years. I have been copic coloring for almost 5 years but I enjoyed hearing your thoughts and seeing how you put these two cards together, seeing the simple form and the one that was stepped up. You are so talented and so creative, I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and skills with us. I hope you have an amazing week. Take care. Big hugs and so much love!

      Thank you so much for the encouragement, Rose! I was dreading this one going live because I just wasn’t sure if it would have any value to people, and it was SO LONG! I edited it way down, but I wasn’t sure anyone would even watch, let alone enjoy it, so I really do appreciate your feedback.🥰 Hope you’re having a good week!

    Thank you for making this informative video. 😊 Not new to card making, but had never heard of a Teflon bone folder before. So I learnt something new. And you made a very good point of suggesting the right choice of Copic friendly paper. I'm relatively new to Copic coloring, and wasted a lot of time and money on buying non Copic friendly paper. I was going to sell my Copics because I was so unhappy with my coloring results.

    • @christygetscrafty
      @christygetscrafty  Před rokem +1

      Paper makes a HUGE difference with Copic coloring! I promise you, you’ll get much better results if you use a Copic-friendly paper. And the Teflon bone folder is another fantastic tool to have, if you don’t have one. They’re a bit pricey but they will last forever.😊

    Loved this overview of your favorite supplies. I was pretty sure patterned paper would make the list somewhere. 😉 I'm glad you included dies and a die-cut machine in your bonus items. Totally agree that in terms of bigger ticket items, the Misti should be the must purchase, but for me the coordinating dies (and machine to cut them) are right up there, but your comment to make sure this is something you want to keep doing before making the investment for those is spot on. Loved that you made cards to showcase the products you were recommending.

    • @christygetscrafty
      @christygetscrafty  Před rokem +1

      I completely agree with you! I wouldn’t want to be card making without dies, but it IS a big investment, especially the die-cutting machine. So I just wanted to give people a chance to wade in and see if it’s for them before they commit to those larger expenses.☺️

    KUDOS to you, Christy! This video was a fabulous idea and I'm sure will get tons of views and potentially lead o more sbscribers to your already highly watched channel. You're tips were "spot on". Loved that you actually did Copic coloring so that newbies could see exactly how they work and are SUPPOSED to "blend together". I wish that when I was starting out almost 25 years ago, that there had been a video like this one. I could have saved SO MUCH MONEY and frustration. I actually started out using of all things, FOAM stamps. (do you even know what those were?) UGH! But, all of those trials and errors got me to where I am now and for that, I'm grateful. You really did an awesome job of showcasing your top picks. Can't wait to see if there will be other videos along the lines of this one to assist beginners and seasoned stampers alike. You've got the "GOLDEN TOUCH", Christy, you really do. I wish you nothing but success in all you do. In my eyes, you're a blessing to the stamping community. Be well -

      Oh my goodness, Karen, you have just made my day!!! I can’t tell you how much that means to me. Literally halfway though filming this one I was nearly in tears with frustration because I didn’t think I was really bringing any value to anyone with it. It means the world that it’s been well received and that someone as experienced as you enjoyed it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!🥰💖
