I’ve worked at a grocery store for the past two years and whenever this happens, my heart warms. This happens a lot more than you might think and it is always wonderful.
People who never received someone's act of kindness would never understand how it can effect the person on the receiving end. When I was 7-8 yrs old, I wanted to buy my parents a pretty plastic cup as a gift for their birthday. I went to the store and thought i had enough money , that was my first time buying stuff on my own so i was pretty nervous, anyway the cashier told me the money wasnt enough after scanning the item. I was so embarrassed I told her i didn't want it anymore. A man stood in line behind me told the cashier, "Put the rest on me." I am an adult now , I was/am still so grateful , and i will NEVER forget that moment and that kind man.
Storys like this remind me of my time with my grandmother...what she taught me ..this planet would be so much nicer if people would just be nicer to one another and help thy neighbor.
This happened to me one day! I was at the store with my 4 kids and a man saw me struggling with my boys and saw i had told my boys they couldn’t buy the candies they wanted and he told me to get them and get whatever else i wanted because he offered to pay for my things. I was in shock and speechless i couldn’t believe this was actually happening to me!
It's a good feeling helping someone. I did it for an old man who card decline and said his daughter said it had money. I paid for items. He was grateful.
I never get tired of this video. What the customer did to help the young mother was amazing. Just one small act of kindness can change a person's life forever. Thank you for stepping up to help.
I was about 11 or 12 years old, and wanted to buy Christmas presents for everyone. I had only so much money, and was short a couple of dollars when I got to the checkout. Someone behind me saw how distraught I was, and gave me the rest of the money to pay for everything. I've paid it forward a few times myself, and it's always fun to do. Makes me smile, knowing I have helped someone else and made their day.
This happened to me a long time ago. I was barely supporting myself and I had to do without food a lot because I was so poor. I went to the grocery store with 50$ hoping to buy some milk and basic things. When I was 20$ over budget, I had to start putting things back. I was about to take things out of the bags when a kind lady stepped in and pad for it all. Also, my neighbor gave me those fruit pies every few days because he knew I was starving. Another neighbor cooked macaroni and cheese for me every now and then too. I lived in a very poor part of town so nobody had anything. We pretty much took care of each other. It was a very very hard time, thank goodness I have the money to put food on my plate now. I think I'd have starved to death if not for the kindness of strangers. I have always done my best to help others when the opportunity arises and I always will.
Sashiku's Art If I could I would give you all my money! I'm a kid, I know, I don't understand what you're going through properly , but I know that kindness makes people happy. One day I saw a man sitting outside a shop with his dog I noticed that any food people gave him, he straight away gave it to his dog. He was homeless. Every time I walked by him, he was always in the same spot everyday, and every time I asked my mum for money and she always gave me some to give to the man. I could see that even though he had little, he always looked after his dog first before he looked after himself. A while later my mum looked on Facebook and saw a post. It was a post talking of a Staffie (like his dog) that had passed away due to medical issues, who belonged to a homeless man. The picture looked just like the dog the homeless man owned. I haven't seen the man in that spot since. I don't know what happened to him, but I would like to think that he found himself a better life, even without his precious dog. He gave everything to that dog, even though he probably knew it was gonna die. Kindness is the most important thing. Always give when you can, or it might be too late. If you're fighting with your friend, imagine if they die tomorrow, thinking that you hate them. Life is too short to be rude, so be kind, to anyone and everyone, even if they don't seem to deserve it. Spread the love friends, and cover up the hate with kindness, so that the world can be as beautiful as we like. If you are reading this, whoever you are, have an amazing life, and please, please try not to hold grudges, what good will it do? Whoever you are, you are loved, and someone, will be there to help. Always. Stay strong, friends. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
A few weeks ago I had about 25 things in my cart and let the lady behind me with one item go ahead of me. No big deal. I think most ppl do that. After a minute the couple in front of her were trying to pay but were a few dollars short. That lady paid it for them. I LOVED seeing kindness paid forward ❤️
Coming out of a local Wal Mart a fellow was out side asking for spare change to eat. I asked him are you sure its to eat? he replied yes, so I asked him to wait there and put my stuff in my truck and went back in. I got a 4 pack of subs, some fruit cups and a gallon of water, and went back out to give it to that fellow. When he realised what I had done he started crying, which got me going too. I myself am unemployed after breaking my back in an accident but im still able to walk and some day ill get a job again.. but my late brother had a saying...there was a man who cried I have no shoes till he met a man that had no feet. Be kind to people no matter what your situation......

God was watching. Helping others is simply the right thing to do. Give what you can, when you can, and always, “pay it forward”. Thank you ma’am for helping those in need.
I'm like this giving all the time, we are very few left not many like us, people need and want more then give and share and I am a full time single happy mother
This is a perfect example of how we can fix this world. Thank you for showing this and please keep showing things like this. We know how bad things are in the world however this does make a big difference in healing our people, country, and the planet.

I remember when I was in the third grade at school I come from a poor family they charged 25 cents for milk for the whole week I never paid but I still got the milk I think the teacher was paying for it bless her I never forgot
If you have a roof over your head, food in your pantry, money in bank, warm coat in the winter. You are blessed. Now imagine, you don't. I've been in those shoes. But always remember what my Dad said,if your hand is reaching down, remember to bring someone up.
Thats awesome... this happened to my 3 year old son we didnt have enough money to pay for his gingerbread house lol of all things and the cashier actually asked how much do u have nd i told her ten dollars an the darn thing was 27 so the cashier ended up paying the rest... Did mean so much to my son...!! Thank u Walmart worker in Greatfalls Montana!!
YourFriendlyNeighborhood…There was a man who panhandled occasionally outside a convenience store a few blocks away from my home . Whenever I would see him I would go inside the store with him and ask him what he needed. One time after buying instant coffee and other things to eat, he whispered to me “I get really bad toothaches”. I bought him some Tylenol and a small bottle of Anbesol. As always I gave him a few dollars cash. He was so grateful. As we were leaving the store a car drove up to the gas pump. The man said “That’s a really nice lady. She helps me out too sometimes!” I looked up and smiled and said “That’s my daughter!”
That's okay. I just read it now. 😊 Your story was especially heartwarming. You have taught your daughter to be a very caring person. You can be very proud of that. God bless you and your daughter.
I’ve done it a few times paid for items for the person in front of me at the grocery store when they were short on cash. Only a few bucks each time not the $120 this woman paid out. It’s just being nice and something my parents taught me about helping out others if you have the means to do it.
Beautiful Souls! Have you guys seen that movie? Pay it forward! I recommend it, it's exactly like this, is beautiful if we all did the same! My family and I went to pizza hut to celebrate my lil brother birthday, we ate, gave him a few present, then we ask for the check and the waitress told us, "Is already paid, the lady over there (A mother with her two kids, African American Btw) pay for it and said happy birthday to geovanni ." We were in shock! In total it was like $50 bucks, and it's not about the amount, it was the beautiful action she made towards my family, coming from a complete stranger, it was beautiful and we went there because my dad just started a new job, we were not economically stable, but she didn't know that, and thats the kind of angels that walks around us!
When I was in 3rd grade I think? A woman had bought all of my family’s (3 kids in school and one newborn at the time) groceries and school supplies. Over $300. People can be amazing
I was waiting for my appointment with the doctor when I saw a young woman go up to the desk when the person behind the glass told her she needed to pay $37 on her bill. I saw her face go red and she whispered, "I can't pay that today." Something or someone got in my head and told me to pay her bill. I have no money problems at this point in my life, but I was dead broke for many, many years and sometimes no way to even get a loaf of bread. So I understood her predicament. I paid it. A few moments later her hubby came out from the exam rooms and she had told him I'd paid their bill. They both put their arms around me, hugged and thanked me. I was red faced embarrassed, but they were so lovely and grateful that it was sweet. I sure hope that they "pay it forward" to someone in need when they can. It was a nice feeling for me, though I was kind of shocked at myself for doing it. I hope they can help someone else someday, but I believe that when you give a gift that you should have no expectations of payback or anything once it's given. Otherwise it is a "loan" and not a gift. lol
Lady I applaud you for your kindness and generosity for a mother that needs something that is essential for her children and Walmart you ought to be ashamed of yourself it's not like she wanted to buy a big flat screen TV or video games or some useless item this was a necessity so shame on you and you say that you're for the people doesn't look like that's me the lady that help pay for the diapers has more integrity than you do and kindness
This is thirty miles up the road. Usually all hear about this Walmart is bad. Shootings, stabbing, always fights there. Daughter lived across the street for awhile
This is just so wonderful. I thank that generous lady from the bottom of my heart. Here comes the "But" If mothers buy real nappies, cloth ones, it's a one off payment, doesn't hurt the planet, gives you more independence, is better for your baby's bum. I hate and despise one use disposable diapers. They will last longer then the life of your child and the parents. We have become ridiculous dependant on the commercial industries, and they love it. Doesn’t help that the shelf price doesn’t include sales tax in America - you could do a “pre-shop”, where you price everything up in advance and even work out which shop was selling it cheaper and budget for that - maybe round it up to the nearest multiple of $10, so you don’t have loads of pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and 50c coins and loose change - but, due to sales tax being slapped on after going through the checkout, you still don’t have enough money to pay for everything! At least, here in the UK, the price on the label includes our equivalent of sales tax, VAT - you hardly notice the amount that is applied, unless you’re spending loads of money on expensive products - you hardly notice the 2p on a packet of crisps, or chocolate bar!
Hey we are all in this together! Henry James the great American novelist said: “Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind.” I’m now on a fixed income, but I have done this as many times as I could. I’ve even just slipped a couple of 20s over to the cashier without the other customer knowing. Then the cashier says: “Oh you DO have enough money. It’s all OK.” Then the cashier will whisper “Thank you” to me. I have had people come up and say “I saw what you did. I’m going to start doing the same thing.” It embarrasses me actually...I feel funny even writing this now... Since I’ve moved from my home in Hawai’i I knit all the time and keep scarves and hats in my car. If I see someone who needs to keep warm, I’m right there with that scarf or hat. It makes me feel good to see someone else get warm. Folks aren’t used to someone helping them. I’m a person that knows what it like to be hurt...like everyone else. So it’s nice to be able to help rather than add another hateful comment...you know..like trolls do.
I worked as a cashier at ingles and anytime a family couldnt afford diapers/ other baby items, food, etc and started to put them back i would always pay for it; their reaction makes it more than worth the money :D
This is how it should be done, selfless and doing it for the sake of helping others, not for gaining views/ followers/ clout like these TikTokers recording themselves nowadays
guess a lot of people have seen that movie about the boy who paid forward. i think he was dying, but he wanted to do many acts of kindness to people he didn't know, before he died. some amazing stories surfaced after that, during the movie and afterward. so it seems, the paying forward with acts of kindness is continuing.
Many years ago I was buying milk at a convenience store, I asked to be rung up for an extra gallon and a loaf bread but to apply it towards the next person buying said items. I returned days later to learn I started a chain reaction.
This is what my mom did with a mother who didn't have enough money to buy her son toys. The cashier was a bit mean & refused to let my mom buy the toys so my mom gave her about 30 dollars. I thought I'd just share this to show people do care
Small acts of kindness can go a long way. Just imagine if everyone did something like this. The world would be a better place.
I’ve worked at a grocery store for the past two years and whenever this happens, my heart warms. This happens a lot more than you might think and it is always wonderful.
Your story would make a great video too.

Generosity and kindness never go out of style, and lending a helping hand can change the course of someone's life for the better.

$123 for 3 packages of diapers.... RIDICULOUS
Are you sure? What if each pack contained hundreds of diapers? Would it still be ridiculous? Fact is you don't know any facts other than price.
Murdoch 0:34 you can see the diapers at the end of the register. its definitely not a 100 pack.

I buy people things when they are low. But 120 dollars is just too much.
Hey we are all in this together! Henry James the great American novelist said:
“Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind.”
I’m now on a fixed income, but I have done this as many times as I could.
Good job woman
so beautiful..awesome lady
So much for Walmart having any Random Acts of Kindness!!!!
I worked as a cashier at ingles and anytime a family couldnt afford diapers/ other baby items, food, etc and started to put them back i would always pay for it; their reaction makes it more than worth the money :D
I teared up a bit on that last one 😭😭😭
This is how it should be done, selfless and doing it for the sake of helping others, not for gaining views/ followers/ clout like these TikTokers recording themselves nowadays
awesome story.
guess a lot of people have seen that movie about the boy who paid forward. i think he was dying, but he wanted to do many acts of kindness to people he didn't know, before he died. some amazing stories surfaced after that, during the movie and afterward. so it seems, the paying forward with acts of kindness is continuing.
nice thing to do but there are definitely people who needed it more than her

Many years ago I was buying milk at a convenience store, I asked to be rung up for an extra gallon and a loaf bread but to apply it towards the next person buying said items. I returned days later to learn I started a chain reaction.
This is what my mom did with a mother who didn't have enough money to buy her son toys. The cashier was a bit mean & refused to let my mom buy the toys so my mom gave her about 30 dollars. I thought I'd just share this to show people do care
