The worst SegaCD game has finaly been found ! Incoherent story and little to no gameplay makes this a chore to watch let alone play. -

I gotta say, some of the dialogue, like the scene where Hiroshi and ZO are talking on the bridge, are actually pretty decent changes from the original film. In the movie, ZO says that the professor was a good man but still created the Dorus. He also says that “everyone does what they have to do to survive” and that the love people have for each other should never be broken, and that that’s the kind of lesson the professor was trying to teach Hiroshi with the music. Here though, ZO admits that he hated the professor for experimenting on him, but now he doesn’t know what to think. He knows the professor loves Hiroshi but he also knows he did evil things. but in a way the professor is sort of his father as well, and him and Hiroshi are like brothers in a way. Both these versions are pretty good character moments for ZO.
Why do the kids have ADULT VOICES!? O.o
Now this movie call'ed Kamen Rider Zo should be realesed on DVD from Shout factory!
Media Blasters is gonna release it along with the other 90s Rider films.
The actors who protect Hiroshi are Space Sheriff Gavan, Winspector’s Fire, Shaider’s Annie, and Exceedraft’s Draft Keace (Yellow).
The movie which this game was made into actually had footage used in Saban's Masked Rider with Doras becoming Destrurosphere and Kumo Woman becoming Archinda in 2 episodes.

Louis Marinucci just goes to show how awful Masked Rider was. Though if I’m gonna be honest it’s kind of a guilty pleasure of mine.
Mediablasters teased in their Twitter that ZO along with Shin, J, and Kamen Rider World will be getting a subbed DVD/Blu-Ray release in America.
I don't see what's so bad...I like Ace of Space and Lair of Dragon too, and on top of that this was my first exposure to Kamen Rider, which is know probably my favorite TV franchise ever. What's not to like?

It really makes me sick how so many people say this is one of the worst games of all time, because the only people who hate it just hate FMV games as a whole I think, and I LOVE this game. It's no different than Dragon's Lair or Space Ace (two of the greatest games of all time). It just has live action instead of animation and life bars. And there's a freaking difficulty adjustment in the option menu, you know.

Why do Americans make Doras lose his creepy childlike voice? It makes him a lot more interesting as a character...

actually i got the japanese rom but nobody told me they dubbed this game in English however some western actors already got appearance in night trap and double switch but unfortunately that has mature 17 rating game or ma 17 by vrc but the game in *cough* *cough* goanimate or vyond *cough* *cough* is rated 17 and nobody bothered making sega of vyond or Nintendo of vyond anyways. but the company was already made irl unless they virtual for vyond or goanimate.

Allot of scenes in this aren't scenes I've seen in the movie and some scenes were cut out entirely. is this game some kind of directors cut edition of the movie?
The answer is no as Toei was producing the footage for the game & the movie at the same time. Some scenes were added to make the game have more action scenes.
@@toastrave7820 cuz nothing says more good action like ZO running up stairs for a few seconds. I kid but I guess adding more action to the game makes some sense. Game still not very good though.

This game use to give me nightmares when I was little....
This film was written by Noboru Sugimura. Who later on wrote story for Resident Evil 2, he gave us scary looking monsters in the game like the one in the final chapter.

@Zontar82 Haven't been by much. The upcoming Kamen Rider sidescroller for DS is looking fairly awesome though.
They just couldn't release the movie? The actual film isn't all that bad for a chop socky rubber monster flick.
Probably because after Gamera the Great reviews are horrible, and Sentai weren't taken seriously at the time and was pretty new in the States. Many are too afraid (including Saban then) to invest and dub it by fearing it'll be unsuccessful and cause them to lose more than they earn. The risk was too much then.
The end credits music is a bad midi version of the original Japanese one.

One of my neighbours had this game. It was okay, not perfect but alright. I think the Kamen Rider ZO film is awesome though! :D
