ABOUT PIRATE OF MIAMI BEACH:
Hello, I am the Pirate that metal detects Florida for treasures. Most of my time is spent water detecting and beach detecting. I will venture off metal detecting and treasure hunting uncharted territory when I hear the call. I will make metal detecting videos as often as the weather permits. Metal detecting underwater, metal detecting beaches will be 90% of my videos. My metal detecting finds are gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, jewelry and coins.
Here in Florida we have this special beach called South Beach. It is located in Miami Beach, Florida. I would say this is the most popular beach in the world if not for the United States. Since 2010 I have been metal detecting Miami Beach.
My metal detecting machines include my Whites Surfmaster PI metal detector. Then my Minelab Manticore metal detector. The scoop I currently use is a CKG titanium scoop with a carbon fiber shaft.
My future metal detecting videos will start to include tips for beginners. I will start to review some products that I buy. Best metal detector for gold and best metal detector finds. Also I will be cleaning and polishing some of the treasure finds

Good 2 day hunt. Gold ring and cross made it well worthwhile. I was glad to see you got out of water 1st. day as it was getting dusk, start of feeding time. I don,t hardly go past knee deep at ponce inlet, to many small to medium sharks, and I never go in when water is murky and there is alot of bait fish. If the water clarity was better from Daytona to Vero, I would like to hunt at the depth you were hunting. You have perfect conditions on a calm day. I envy you. Was wondering how many shark you see, or if you see any Barracuda? If those Gucci were real and unscratched they would be 400 to $600 glasses, I can get 100 to$200 on Ebay all day long. Cartier alot more! Always ready for your next video.😊😊
I used to hunt at night time. The sharks here don't bother you. I see Barracudas all the time and mostly small ones. I do get out of the water at dusk now as all it takes is one to mistake your for bait, lol.
@pirateofmiamibeach Barracudas love shiny objects, smaller cudas are lighting fast, so I would, nt wear anything shiny. I fear cudas alot more than sharks, as they are totally unpredictable. Stay safe. I have been bitten twice by small sharks, requiring 8 stitches once and five stitches another time, when I used to surf. Both times at Ponce Inlet, New Symrna Beach. While skin diving in Bahamas I had some close encounters with Barracuda. I have seen a few nasty bites from cudas. Stay safe as you said it only takes 1 time for a really bad experience.
@ronwaldron9626 I figure if I move slow they won't bother me. I spearfish a lot and know the territorial signs to stay away. They are in my territory when I am looking for gold and they give me room 😆
If we had clear water like you do I may go in the water in San Diego you cannot see the bottom. So that means i cannot see what is swimming around me lol. So it's a hard no for me lol
I agree, don't go in the cloudy water. The only thing worse is swimming in a bait ball of fish 😂

The sharks here are more chill than other places. Most of the time you are good to go in the water. Still always be on guard.

Hi Ray thanks! Wow a Rolex! I have yet to find a real Rolex or anything over 1,000 in value yet. That would be a nice find. I know they are here I am just missing them to other detectorist I geuss.

@raydunhill5160 I might do some traveling later on in the summer. Might hit some beachs on the way up north. One I really want to hit is Vero beach.
