Synopsis:::
Sindur Khela is a social drama which reminds us about the value of the vermillion in the Hindu culture and Indian family background. Rajiv is the son of famous advocate Suryadeb Banerjee and he has a great family. Subho is Rajiv’s friend for whom Rajiv could do anything. Subho and Shibani fall in love with each other. On the other side Shibani’s father Narayan is a college friend of Suryadeb and they fixed the marriage of Shibani and Rajiv with each other. But when Rajiv found Shibani and Subho together, they made a plan where Rajiv married Shibani to keep their fathers’ respect and they decided to get Subho and Shibani married later. But getting the love and care from Rajiv’s family, Shibani understood her mistake and wanted to rectify it by leaving Subho and his love and stay with Rajiv and his family. But when Subho tried to stop Shibani, she was enraged and committed suicide. This lead to a conflict between the two friends, Rajiv and Subho and it ended with Subho’s death. Subho tried to mingle Rajiv and Shibani and so created a scene where Shibani confessed her love for Rajiv before him. The movie ends on a happy note where Subho sacrificed his life for his friend and lover making Rajiv and Shibani to live happily with their loving family.
