HOW TO DROP A RADIATOR FOR PAINTING / WALL PAPERING AND DECORATE BEHIND WITHOUT DRAINING THE SYSTEM.

  • In this video I show you how to simply drop a radiator without having to remove it and drain the central heating system to allow you to paint / wallpaper and decorate behind it.
    In addition I will show you where the anti rattle vibration clips are situated and installed.
    Note when slacking the pipes to lower the radiator Just enough to allow it to pivot No more !
    Also make sure to support the radiator at the base to prevent any straining on the pipe work joints,in the video you can see I've placed a padded dust sheet at the bottom to support and keep the pipe work in line to prevent any damage.

      Won't work with mine, mine is microbore, not 15mm like yours

      @@paul1962uk They break/bend/split so easy! I always drain if they're microbore, not worth the risk. Especially if you're trying to handle a big rad by yourself!
