I wonder why they decided to give the base a sporty design though😂

I agree, the power figures don't match the look of the car. Not a bad thing, but I noticed that too.

@AG21Media I mean it works for the nline, where they have actually given it more then just a sporty (and very aggressive) body kit, with small turbo charger hooked up to the same engine in this, giving the nline a little more go-go then the base and the sporty feeling is enhanced by stiffened breaks, suspension and heavier steering from what I have herd. Also to top it off, the nline and the full fat N share the same performance and cosmetic mods. Sixth even make tunes for the nline specific turbo and people say the nline is just a body kit🤦🏼‍♀️ Until about last year (2023) they actually used to race nlines in the hyundai N cup in korea. Although a couple of N owners think that making the nline hybrid with a less powerful engine, just dosen't seem right for the nline, which is supposed to act as the baby brother to the full fat N. I also dislike the tucson nline, it's something that appeals to the masses and the nline hatch and sedan mostly appeal to enthusiasts who like to mod and customize their cars like the full fat N

@AG21Media the small turbo charger paired with the regular i30 engine is the same thing used for the i20n apparently. Where it's the standard i20 engine with the same turbo charger used in the nlines🧐 So I wonder what they actually do to make the i20n a full fat N with it's "nline" turbocharger?? Also wonder what specs the nline version of the i20 has if the full N version is using the turbo charger normally used in nlines??

@AG21Media another thing that dosen't make sense with the i20n, is that it dosen't have any history in the nurburgring whatsoever. It's only for testing new models that the i20n actually is "raced" on the "green hell", but in the racing world it is a rally car and they don't go to the ring. Maybe i20 rally spec is more fitting (remember the veloster r spec and rally spec?? I also don't think they actually raced velos on the nurburgring when they were still making the N version). The i30n is the only N that is actually raced on the "ring"

would you recommend this vehicle for a college student?

    • @AG21Media

It depends. I think its great because its economical, practical and its priced competitively. I was averaging about 5.5L or 6.5L/100km. Ultimately, you would have to evaluate and see if its the right decision for you!

Thats interesting! Better fuel consumption too, compared to the 2.0 i4.
