I knew him from work. He was a resident where I worked at. He was the nicest guy you would ever want to meet. He will be missed.

@@BusterMSC1 Palm Springs area he actually didn’t live there, but he would come and spend weeks or months. It was inside of the Springs country clubs. He lived right across the street from Barbara boxer
Who doesn't love Willie Mays? The greatest player of all time. His patriotic military service years taken away from baseball is probably why he doesn't own every hitting record in the book. His defense, legendary! His arm in center field could not be surpassed. Equaled maybe, but not surpassed. May you play ball in heaven with all the great ballplaying angels who came before.
Rest in peace, Willie. It's crazy how we lost both Mays and Cepeda within 10 days of each other. Both had long and great lives. The Giants organization does a great job with these events and honoring the Giant's legends. "Heros get remembered but legends never die."
