5 total episodes from a week's worth of taping, this is the first one, that would have aired typically on Monday.
Featuring "Good" - Randy Savage, Tatanka, Crush, Big Bossman and Slick versus "Evil" - Shawn Michaels, Jimmy Hart, Irwin R. Shyster, Repo Man and Papa Shango
Both heartwarming and heartbreaking to watch when you realize how many of them have left us too early. RIP Crush, Big Bossman, Macho Man and Ray Combs.
I've never seen an RIP left on a wrestling vid before. Glad you were able to comment with this unique insight.
And Gene Wood.
And Ray Combs
I know it is bitter sweet. I loved all these guys as a kid
they all laughed nervously at Tatanka's answer of "medical insurance." lol...
Lol. He was being honest but opened a can of worms at the same time.
when wrestlers kept in character
Yeah and actually we’re believable macho man really could never get out of character
when lame bull shit talk didn't up most of the show..
@@JOHNJ0HN9111 agreed and the shit talk was actually good and not bad most of the time
There was no internet or social to ruin the character either
@@rcangelanddemon8815 - Lol. Yeah. A character like papa shango was “believable”. Lol
Macho Man loved his charities. What a REAL MAN!
He also loved to beat the shit out of Elizabeth too

Calm down, nerd. You responded to every comment in this video, trying to be a little edge lord. How cute, did the little boy just learn about trolling? Your curly's just start growing in too?
At the time, I took all these 90s era personalities for granted. Looking back on it, it may very well have been the last of a dying breed.
No worries roman reigns took the torch
@@DTHRILLS.DANIEL.THRILLRIDETV he's doing a phenomenal job. Took long enough.
NO MAY HAVE BEEN.....THOSE WERE THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS. WHAT WE HAVE TODAY IS RECYCLED TRASH.
There are no more legends in professional wrestling
Tatanka is more legit than roman reigns
Have to admit Tatanka's "medical insurance" fucking killed me. xD
That answer was way ahead of its time
He's a Lumbee Indian so that fits perfect
With the injuries these guys went through, you know damn well it was costly and something they knew all too well
Something kids suffer from at summer camp?
Macho Man with full confidence: Measles!!! LMAO
Likely because he was speaking from experience.
@@randybradley4151 My answer would be homesickness
@@chuckycheese84 Same. Not because I never got homesick but I know many children did. I loved going to camp because we were all little perverts watching the female camp counselors shower together among other things.
Summer Camp-official birth place of the Boner!!!
I would have said sunburn but measles is ok too.
Shawn gave a good impression of Randy giving "homesickness!" haha
Oh yeah, he nailed it.
I died 😂
He also called him Macho Munchkin
Spot on lol
Everyone has a good Randy Savage impression though lol
"Medical insurance." Tatanka doing a shoot interview with his Family Feud answers.
The way Macho does a quick take, you know the boys are all thinking, "Oh... he should not have said that. It's 100% true, but he shouldn't have said that!"
And yet, they chose him for the final round??
RIP Big Boss Man, Macho Man Randy Savage, Crush, Ray Combs.

When wrestling was great, full of unique personalities, something which is sadly lost today!
@Google Sucksballs That’s right the ones who were more over than most of what today’s wwe has to offer. Beg to differ?
How did I never know about this!?! This is gold!
Why do you have a picture of Mick Foley on your profile?
Macho will always be so damn cool to me. You can ALWAYS recognize his voice lol and he wasnt acting, that's how he sounded
He also did some rapping before; dissing Hulk Hogan. He had some bars.
@@wiglafsfilms8418 he lovef hip hop. Thats so rad to me too. He will always have a spot in my heart

That is not how he actually spoke. Just check for videos on the net. Plenty of them to prove you wrong.
@@benc.enlots dont break my childhood aka wish your voice was like that
Now how the hell did Vince watch the back and forth between Macho and Shawn here and decide that a Macho/Shawn feud wouldn’t be absolute gold?
Yes!!! Seeing them in interacting live outside of the show, unscripted and 100% in character, you can see who is able to cut promos and why others are saddles with goofier, relatively speaking, gimmicks.
Vince is an idiot that just banks off the publicity for house show revenue he doesn't even watch nxt
Could've been Epic.
That's quite a question since Randy wanted it, Shawn wanted it, they even tried them out on some house shows in late 92. There is a taped match that they had floating around CZcams (at least there was). I think it could've been a fantastic program. It's funny because the Vince McMahon of today obviously doesn't have the same mindset, but the one of 30 years ago absolutely had the mindset of "If you're over 40, I don't want to push you because I need to make new stars". Since Randy was over 40, he thought his use as a draw was rapidly waning (although Randy did carry them through half of a very troubled 1992 admirably at the box office as champion). The Vince of today doesn't seem to care about age (since as of this writing one of his dual world champions is over 40 and the "young guys" on the roster right now are people like Matt Riddle, who is 35).
Maybe because of the Stephanie rumor lol
This is why the 90’s were so great. All these wrestlers stay in character for the most part and go on a show that has a different audience and make it fun. I remember a bunch of WCW guys went on family feud as well. WWE did the weakest link too. Believe it or not these are the types of things that should be done today in order to bring in outside audiences.
Wrestling is waaaayyy too niche of a product today. It is only appealing to a very limited group most of which have been diehard fans for 10,15,20 years plus.
These game shows were so much fun when they would do celebrity crossover episodes. Too bad we don’t see this type of stuff any longer
Agree, Wrestling needs to reach out to more shows like this. Maybe sponsor some heath drinks or HiC for kids.
But yes this stuff is a missed opportunity
Nothing Fun happens anymore.
You nailed it brother
Tna did family feud a few years back
Vince realised he can make more money from foreign markets, whereas back in the 90s they relied more on the American market therefore they'd appear on American shows like this. WWF really became a big brand globally in the 00s. You look at the popularity of WWE in India, then think about that country's population... too much money to be made that way. Also a lot of these new foreign fans are impressed quite easily, whereas most that witnessed the Attitude Era find modern wrestling bland
Crush and Macho Man on the same team ....that didn't last long ... One of my favorite feuds of all time ..
This was just before WM9. Macho and Crush would face off a year or so later at WM10.
Kona Crush ruled!
Crush called Mr. Fuji, Master Fuji.
haha i knew the good guys would be in trouble when they had Tatanka to start the final round...
Five words: "Jerry King. Jerry the Lawler."
Why did they pick him his answers were so bad in the earlier rounds
Yah, that made no sense. Shoulda bin Crush & Macho, although Bossman wasn't bad.
The British are coming
“Grab my axe” - Paul Revere

Well, he does have the wrong flag on the side of his uniform.
"Why is their sap red?!"

Haha, Slim Jim woulda bin EPIC!!!

medical insurance was hilarious...and measles lol
Measles was the funniest shish I ever heard he was so confident that was up there
Holy shit, this is AMAZING! And laws about game shows mean it's not scripted even if they're in character. This is great, this is great. These guys take a lot of shots to the head, and it really shows. This is great.
Thank you so so very much for uploading these!
Rip to all the wrestlers that lost their life and Ray combs!!

Jimmy Hart failing to come up with The Wizard of Oz (you know, the most famous movie of all time) is so so sad
I think that was a work honestly. I can't see them letting the heels win this.
Pretty sure that was on purpose to keep the "Good" team ahead in the game.
@@MrZoolook For Jimmy Hart's age he would definitely know it better than those movies.
I'm sure it was one of the scripted moments.
Kind of odd seeing Shawn as a "mercenary of evil" and Slick & Bossman as a "force of good" lol
The way wrestling goes. Faces turn to heels and vice versa!
Slick yes but Bossman in 1993 had been a babyface about four years.
All 5 babyfaces were better as heels.
I haven't seen this many heels presented as good guys since Hogan Bigelow Patera Orndorff & Muraco Survivor series 87.

Tatanka saying “health insurance “ hurt my soul
Benoit wouldve been on the updated bad guy team. His answer to what he does to blow off steam wouldve been of particular interest.
If he didn't have all that unfortunate brain damage, I know he never would have done what he did. I blame Vince for not taking better care of his wrestlers.
He called Tatanka "Tatanga" not once but twice and its hilarious to me.
Tatanka was under-rated

The whole year? Might be his whole career
@@jamienewell2846 Whole career? I'm pretty sure he lost most of the time in his second run. He even refused getting the WWE title.
He did a clean job on the Raw before Wrestlmania IX. Tatanka pinned him clean in a six man tag. He also lost the IC title to Marty Jannetty on a May Raw, although I guess that wasn't a "clean" job since Mr. Perfect did technically interfere by throwing a towel in Shawn's face.

I can't believe Big Boss Man didn't go police station but at least he got the number 1 answer
IRS was my favourite heel wrestler back in the day
30 years later and they’re still playing for $20k
IKR? I thinks it's because they pay Steve Harvey so much
Well really $20k was a maximum top prize then...wasn't always hit, most of the time it'd be far less than that, as low as $5k on occasion (which was down from the typical $10k offered on the syndicated Feud before the Bullseye Round was introduced). So $20k was mostly there to make it seem like more money was available, when the reality was, they were in major budget mode in what would end up being the final years of this run of the show. So, the comparison isn't completely fair here.
