Never understood these, whats the "effect" from slowing it down and adding reverb? Cause it just kinda takes away the little details and only focuses on major noises

I get that, all slowing it down does (from my experience) is brings more attention to vocals. It’s makes some songs have a different vibe going from like an upbeat to more of chill version (lofi if you will) The reverb adds like a spacey feel like as if you are zoning out, i will admit listening on speakers compared to headphones is totally different experience when it comes to the reverb and some of my edits are better then others so you get different feelings from each one. but i get where you’re coming from some of the subtle sounds from songs do get lost with the reverb, i try to balance it as best i can, I hope that helps answer your question 🌹

If it’s such an upbeat song with lots of crazy production, slowed and reverb won’t work AS well, this is an example of one of those songs. Try listening to another song in slowed n reverb that isn’t ajr or such of a big production stand point

Alex Animations Yeah i understand what you mean, i’ll try remember that next time i try to slow a very upbeat song, some songs work and some don’t but someone did request this song so i gave it a try 🖤 I’ll try get better for other ones 🌹

Slo-Mo Rose honestly, I think it worked well for this one! The effect definitely isn’t as prominent as other slowed songs, but I think it worked just enough so it’s still upbeat, but more relaxed. I really like it!
