Rebooted's finale was just insane. The only time Ninjago has made me cry. Extremely dramatic & emotional moment. The music took things to another level. And the memorial was just heart-wrenching. I'm so glad Zane was rebuilt!
The Seabound finale was another one that hit hard. There was also the “Dedicated to Kirby Morrow” at the end which was just the icing on the cake of sadness
To anyone asking how Zane defeated the overlord. The logical reason is he absorbed the powers of the golden weapon which the tendrils that were holding the ninjas were also gone because of it. Then his elemental powers were amplified by it and since the overlord was using a machine as it's vessel, it was destroyed by an amplified ice element. This means Lloyd does have the power to destroy the overlord if he was in his Golden Form but since it would've been absorbed, it was impossible. Zane being amplified by the golden weapons was able to match that power but in return destroyed himself. Only Zane could've done it because his body is stronger than a human's in order to last that long. If it were anyone else, they would've been disintegrated immediately.
He’s not only stronger than a a normal human, but also a normal nindroid. One of them disintegrated upon touching the weapons in the last episode. He survived as long as he did because he was both a nindroid and elemental master.
And because he absorbed the power of golden weapons, Golden Armor was rendered "powerless" and could be touched by anyone...as seen in March Of The Oni

The final battle against the overlord is the best part of the series. I haven’t seen that beautifull finale in many years, and now that I rewatched it…its just perfect. The chills, the cold on my spine…its perfect

Lol I just realized that, both times the Overlord is defeated, the Ninja who did it unlocks a shiny new Gi color. The Green Ninja becomes the Golden Ninja and the White Ninja becomes the (silver) Titanium Ninja. It’s like a rule in the Ninjago universe, if you beat the Overlord you get a new suit color.

An animated LEGO SERIES had absolutely no right being this good. The music is incredible, and the voice acting is so good. The only thing holding it back is the animation quality. But they make good use of their animation resources. Sometimes all that matters is the shots that make mediocre animation look good.
The Titanium Ninja scene had me bawling back when I watched it for the first time. Zane was always my favorite. To see him return later was truly amazing. Really soothes the soul.
I want to say in the final battle against Nadakhan when he literally wished him gone a couple times instead of wishing him still, but Jay did dodge those wishes
I will always remember these two moment’s, from the hype leading to the final battle at the finale of season 2, to one of the most hard hitting and heart breaking sacrifice of Zane Julian in the finale of season 3
LOL who else notice that when Nya starts crying after Zanes death, Jay comes to comfort her but Cole hugs her first and Jay gets mad. Even though Jays friend literally just DIED, Jay was still simping for Nya lol.
In Rebooted, Ninjago city was saved, but the tragicomic Zane haunted the Ninja, few days till they began to quarrel, terrible as usual and that terrible tragedy destroyed the team, in the first episode of TTOE, they lived is separate ways without fighting
Lloyd the ultimate spinjitzu master abandoned his powers, his responsibilities, it was Zane who had to take these, Lloyd would have survive but the golden weapon were too powerful for Zane. This season taught me when I was a kid to never chose the easy way and never quit my responsibilities, I am so happy that I have seen this show.
It's been so long, but I ended up just remembering Ninjago all of a sudden and I found this. I might be a bit too old for this now, but I'm kind of thinking about rewatching everything for nostalgia. Regardless of whether it's a bit cringy or not.

Moments like these in the earlier days, more hard after they killed off really hit the same as when Zane sacrificed himself to me. This is the moment Ninjago peaked.
For anyone wondering how he beat overlord I think it’s because Zane overloaded the golden armor since it was only made to handle golden power and not it’s separated components like ice so basically he blasted his energy into the armor to overload it with 2 elements which made it explode with enough force to kill the overlord

Lloyd the ultimate spinjitzu master abandoned his powers, his responsibilities, it was Zane who had to take these, Lloyd would have survive but the golden weapon were too powerful for Zane. This season taught me when I was a kid to never chose the easy way and never quit my responsibilities, I am so happy that I have seen this show.
It's been so long, but I ended up just remembering Ninjago all of a sudden and I found this. I might be a bit too old for this now, but I'm kind of thinking about rewatching everything for nostalgia. Regardless of whether it's a bit cringy or not.

I like to think that he was able to harness the power of the golden weapons just like how when they reach their true potential, their weapons glow.

For anyone wondering how he beat overlord I think it’s because Zane overloaded the golden armor since it was only made to handle golden power and not it’s separated components like ice so basically he blasted his energy into the armor to overload it with 2 elements which made it explode with enough force to kill the overlord
