- This is a Sirene Von Boo doll that I decided to make into a half Art Doll, Half Monster High Repaint and of course I'm still in a Mermaid mood so....am going to do a Summer Mermaid Series! This is my first time making a Betta Mermaid Doll, and I loved every moment of her creation!
Alot of this was inspired by fellow artists here on youtube--
@KaypeaCreations and @Dollightful are two of them! Kaypea Creations uses alot of the same techniques I used with creating the tail for this beautiful Siren and well I just love how Dolllightful's half Monster High/Half Art Doll Came out--please check out their channels!
Also, I have a Doll up for Adoption on my Etsy Store:)

Great mermaid. Very well done, gorgeous tail! Just awesome! Love her!
Thanks, Joe! I'm very glad that you like how she came out--Niamh is definitely one of my best dolls yet I think;)
She's beautifully gorgeous! I love everything about her, see you next time.
thank you:) She was a process but a joy to make;) See you next time;)
She turned out beautiful!!!! The painting on the tail is AMAZING!!!! And her faceup is so so pretty!!!
Thank you;) The painting on the tail took a LONG time, but totally worth it in the end;) and thank you--i think she's my best doll yet;)
Beautifully painted, and so shimmery ☆
Thank you! I love how she shimmers, too♥
Lovely doll! I like how shimmery she is. Niamh is pronounced like 'Neev' as mh makes a 'v' sound in Irish. (Irish girls' names are apparently some of the most difficult words to pronounce.)
Oh thank you--i wish that more names included Pronounciation guides;) i used to have speech therapy as a kid so I was taught to sound things out and well, obviously I had no clue that mn makes a V sound in Irish (isn't that called Gaelic? Just asking for clarification:) )
Why didn’t you just reconnect the broken pieces of the tail with wire and stuff? Dollightful has a video on that.
Most of the wire I have on hand breaks and yes, I know I could have done that as well. I wanted to make a fully posable tail for this doll, thus the ball and joint armature, and half art-doll style that I went with instead;)
Niamh is pronounced Nee-ve just fyi, like Eve with an N
I may have to go in and update that video:) As a kid I had speech therapy so I was taught to sound things out--unfortunately that doesn't always get the pronounciation right:) Thank you for letting me know;)♥
