It's one of the greatest games ever made..
Can’t believe it’s still one of the best selling games even now on the switch store. The game has such lack of gameplay and modes.
@@Ful-OGold Are we talking about the same game? 8 Deluxe has 7 different modes, 96 tracks, and 8 battle courses.
@@SaltyToad00 yep same game. There’s hardly any replay value in this game. Basically collect coins to unlock extra karts and parts and that’s it. Just rerun grand Prix or battles. No collectables or story mode of any sort. I guess the game is more for those with less attention span like kids

As a Japanese, I was thrilled when purple dodged the shock in the last race. It was not just by luck but he surely expected it.
How did he do it?
@@Unknown_User174 He pulled a Crazy 8 and waited to use the star until the lighting was about to strike, allowing him to easily zoom past the competition. A little luck, and a lot of skill.

He knows the likelihood of cpu characters drawing shock(lightning) considering the distance from the first. This distance, then 7% of the chance of them drawing or something like that. It’s crazy but when it comes to shock dodge, he’s the best player.

I didn’t know all the others did as well haha. I knew some did. It was funny when Jim dodged in bowser’s castle by falling out of the course 😂

I love and have been playing this game for almost 10 years. I almost don't want Nintendo to release Mario Kart 9. 10, because let's face it, most companies skip the 9th version of their products and go straight for 10.
This really needed some more promotion and hype, either way still a great show, here's to the next one.

this one was a weird one, because it's a 6 player format the understanding on cpus is suddenly a factor which most players have not much idea of how they work, pretty jank championship ngl hoping for 12 players next time

Mario Kart 8 deluxe world championship 2024 is absolutely brilliant and fantastic oh yeah by the way Nintendo should add one more cup into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe called the shine sprite cup and the last 4 race tracks that should be added on that cup is Number 1 Isle Delfino a new race track idea by me, Number 2 Wuhu Island from Wii Sport Resort, Number 3 Bowser's Castle from Mario Kart double dash and Number 4 rainbow road from Mario Kart DS also the last DLC racer that I would like to see added into Mario Kart 8 deluxe is toadsworth from super mario sunshine now that will be really exciting to have all those ideas added into Mario Kart 8 deluxe.

This event is really cool, I've been waiting for a Mario Kart tournament since I purchased Mario Kart DS on its Launch Date! I've also been waiting for an F-Zero X tournament

why was dive pausing so much? isn’t that not allowed in races i don’t think you can pause mid race
Pausing online doesn't actually pause the game. He's doing it to switch over to Tilt Controls because they give you a huge advantage on Glider sections. He then immediately returns to his normal controls when he lands.
Pretty sure at least half the players are doing that

Why do they only say europe for Thomas and not the country?
It hardly matters if you are a world record holder when you have items turned on.
Thats Mario Kart Deluxe in Competition: 50% luck and 50% ability. World Records is 100% ability
You still need a lot of skill to be the best. You need to know exactly how you can use that item to its fullest potential.

No emotion from anybody after the last race. Cmon, purple should've at least fist pumped 😂. Fun to watch, but they really need to go with the rocket league approach of following individual players longer. Tough to view imo
Most excited I've ever heard the guy was when he ran a 1:48.985 on Ice Ice Outpost for a super niche time trial category that has no significance to 99% of players and was also obsoleted less than a week later

The other races DID catch up to him and were in front of him for most of that rainbow road, he owes that final win to RNG hooking him up with a Crazy 8 in 6th place.
