You continue to post such helpful videos without fail. Thank you Cody for the amount of knowledge you share with the sprinting world
Thank you Landon! That’s the goal, provide value and cut through the fluff so you guys can benefit without having to make all the same mistakes I did earlier on haha.
I second this. I don’t watch his videos often but when I do I usually learn something new
This guy never fails to give NEW and actually beneficial concepts.
Sad to see he isn’t getting the views he deserves.
I appreciate that 🙏🏽 in due time it’ll get out there. For now hopefully all of you can benefit from some of the info. Thanks for watching and best of luck in your training!
You really inspire me to not give up🙏
That’s awesome to hear. Keep working toward your goals and you’ll see the progress you want!
I wanted to write a big nice comment, but guys have said it all already. It's a great video and Thank you very much, Cody! God bless you 🙏🏻✝️❤
Holy fuck, this is golden.
Thank you sir 🙏
Merci for this explanation on the organization of the sprinter's stride as well as the issues that support efficiency
Excellent explanation !
Thank you for explaining so clearly and going into depth WHY you do what you do. Great video
Really good tips and explanation of the mechanics, and main focus of sprinting fast. I remember when I was young, fit and fast, and had a feel for these things, how good it felt one year to also prepare for the triple jump, for the summer school sports event, and how I could sense the carry though into sprinting. It seemed to encourage an upright posture, and a crisp, elastic type bounce as you hit the ground, almost like bounding which is where plyo and maximum force at minimum and short contact times comes into play. I'm only now realising how much plyo and natural strength I had back then, and how weak my feet in particular seem to have become. A lot of work before I'm back on the road again, especially on the feet, but should be fun. Cal Dietz focuses on foot strength too, does he not. Thanks again, and all the best to all aspiring, or unretiring runners.
very good explanation, thank you very much
Good info
Another excellent video! I feel like I have watched alot of sprint videos by now by all sorts of authors, but your explanation of what is going on is the best, you explain things in quite a unique way but its just spot on in helping me think about what I am trying to achieve 🙏 Thank you!
Thank you Isabella! I’m so glad it’s helpful for you. That’s the ultimate goal. I appreciate you watching and sharing your feedback 🤙🏽
Hey man, nice video as always
What program do you use to view the video and edit while viewing (Like the one you are using to make yellow lines, etc)
Super helpful. Just got into sprints a month ago as a hobby and this gives me quality stuff to focus on.
Hello good, i ask you, can you work a 30 meters fly uphill?
Nail on the head for this one👏🏾👏🏾as always lol
Hello . I just wanna get advice and information about supplements what must the sprinter take as supplements how/when to take them which of them are good for the athelt please we need video about that or can you write down an answer wish you all the best
Hey , a little confused. If you push straight down are you only getting vertical forces? I thought your over video about vertical vs horizontal forces said you want both at top speed phase
When i'm sprinting, specially in the 200m, i usually ''overstride'' during airtime but end up placing my foot below my hips, any tips to prevent that?
What you think now about Cal Dietz triphazic training after few years applying it?
As a system it can be quite effective, but you have to be ready to work very hard and focus a lot on recovery. Also you can take chunks of it and make use of them. What I liked about the book was that it was a great intro into fundamental concepts around training & adaptation in an easily digestible way. Even if you just read the book and don't use the program, you can learn some useful concepts. I wouldn't say I use his methods of training currently, but still keep bits and pieces in and will go back to themes from the book from time to time.
this is technical
What are our using to draw on the video?
@@ATHLETE.X thank you. I never actually knew how to do this type of stuff because I couldn’t figure it out on any adobe software.
All my mistakes solved in one video.
Do you actively drive the knee forward or do those frontside mechanics happen naturally?
👍
Your forward neck is not correct at all. I'm not a pro but looks awful. Your mixing jogging and sprinting mechanics up and missing a lot of core fundamentals.
