Great videos, as usual !…In the early 1980’s I was living in LA and had been in the book store in the Beverly Wiltshire Hotel. As I was leaving I held the door open for the lady behind me, there was a man right behind her so I continued to hold the door open. I then saw it was Kirk Douglas and his wife. They both said thanks and gave me a great smile. I later was told he had an office in the hotel.

Interesting life. There remains some dark speculations surrounding his past. The connection with Jean Spangler, and the 'possible' Natalie Wood situation. Things that will never be fully solved.

You just forgot to mention that Karl Malden was of Serbian origin and he was born in Chicago( a city with the largest Serb community in the USA) in 1912 as Mladen Sekulovic, which is a typical Serbian name...:) ..
