Okay RobinsonM08, I seriously doubt the Schorling would go through an engine block. It would pull it into the hopper and into the truck but that is just sweeping it in. You are correct in terms of an I-beam (not e beam) it would not damage. Man, at 3:53 when the blade opens up, the dishwasher is not really that mangled Robinson.
I've seen the car video before and let's say it was a real car (have my doubts). The car was small (like a Yugo or mini cooper size) and the frame was probably nothing. As for a truck, try it...put a Ford F-350 or HD Chevy/GMC and watch it stop the packer blade dead in its tracks. The frames on those are very strong. A steel I-beam chunk used in building construction would stop it is as well, as would an engine block.
I just put my stuff out at the curb I no longer want but looks to be in good shape still and just put a free sine on it and most of the time its found a new home by the evening and just small pile of junk stuff trash man gets is left
Great footage! These 2Rs are bloody mean trucks, that packer blade must be designed to eat anything - they've fed a car before, I guess a truck will be next, followed by a plane!!! :D He almost slipped over at 3:31, damn icy surface =] haha What's the chassis of this truck?
No, in Germany we incinerate it and dumps are illegal; which I find even worse than landfill. Because landfills can be mined and the contents recycled later on if we have proper technology/policy.
good job you're doing, great video more of bulky waste trips

Aww come on man! That was a perfectly good bicycle! I would have kept it and restored it. It was a good looking bike!
Awesome footage, that is a great crusher truck. No struggle whatsover.
Awsome power of the truck!!5 stars
Awesome! Thanks for posting!

Yeh we get the Ategos down here, just don't really see them around often.

Surprised to see the dishwasher? 2:20 go in with the other stuff. I guess it will be shredded later to recover the metal parts.
@NamelessOnlineFreak
@MrMike554
no, they sort out the metal and burn the rest.
Hi MrMahlzahn
1A! Kann mich fynbear nur anschließen :-)
Herzlichen Dank (auch fürs 2. neue Video!)

It's a Mercedes Benz Atego. Don't know if you know this model name in Australia.
Oh and also because 80 percent of this waste can be recycled and not take to the dump
Lies, was MrMalzahn geschrieben hat.
uaa i relly hate to see that happen to a bike it is verry sad to see
the one guy's wearing his where's waldo sweater...lol
What a ridiculous waste of material and labour. Most of that could and should have been recirculated.
is that a leach?
It is the European version of the leach 2r.
In essence same construction and performance
does this go to landfill?
No, in Germany we incinerate it and dumps are illegal; which I find even worse than landfill. Because landfills can be mined and the contents recycled later on if we have proper technology/policy.
@@eier3252 but in the meantime, landfills would generate lots of methane and leachate and any recyclables except for metal would be rendered unusable
@@Trizo Plastics don't degrade that fast, and we may use the methane for generating energy
I'd thought they would recycle more over there.
Why not have 3 trucks: metal, wood, & land fill, then they could go further before emptying to.
Landfills aren't allowed in germany. Whe burn the trash.
