- We finally passed the 50,000 tree milestone! This month we’re proud to say our new total trees planted with our music is 51,045! 🌳 Thanks again to everyone for helping us make this happen.
As a thank you, we made this music video while we were busking at the portobello beach here in Edinburgh.
At the end of the video Steffi explains how the tree planting project works.

Congratulations on the milestone, Mark and Steffi! Been listening to you both for years and I hope to come across you live someday. I have known about the Stick since the mid-1980s with friends who played, and now that I am retiring I have a Stick on order to begin the adventure myself. In my studies, I have come to have massive respect for masters such as you both who are so rare in creating such wonders with two Sticks soaring together in the music. Thank you again for what you do and the inspiration you give us all.

are the chapman sticks easy to learn to play? and what do they cost.
Definitely not easy. Without any written music we arrange everything ourselves by ear. We don’t read music.
It always depends on how committed you are and how much you practise:)
They cost between $3000-4000 usd.
