Depends absolutely on the person. If you like this kinda games and are willing to log in often to keep up your base then sure. Also depends on if you have friends to play with if you like the multiplayer aspect
i think you can buy better games with that money, more then 1 actually with those 40 dollars
For me, it's $70 dollars plus you need a good pc

You should try out Trident Survival. Pretty good Roblox Rust remake. They also just got a new map which is pretty cool + weekly updates

The reason why Roblox Rust is easier is because most people have never played actual rust and are therefore not very good and unaware of most Rust shenanigans like trap bases
