mine came with Pythons and pretty loud. lol, the neighbors definitely know when I start it. I've had it for a few weeks now, my first Harley, I gotta say she's got some balls. I managed to keep up with a Street Glide and a Road King.
I got mine in 2013, now got 85000 ks on it and it has not missed a beat. Sits all day at 120 to 130 kph and doesn't even feel like it is working hard. Had mine up to 200kph. I would never consider selling mine. I am in west aussie so all my specs are in kilometers per hour. Also I have done up to 800 ks in one day on runs so it works great as a cruiser. The big front tyre is solid on the road and the bike handles awesome. Cheers Deno
A honest , sensible review of a VERY nice bike . This is what i was looking for . Mine will arrive next week ( June 2018 ) . Just 2 points to make . #1 You need a windshield for your mic' . #2 Would love to have heard the bike running with those after - market silencers . Many thanks , and ride safe .
@@jackwednesday Had one of those with stock pipes. Just drill a hole in the center of the baffle and keep going until you get all the way through. Night and day difference! Start with a 1/4" bit and work your way up until you get the performance and sound you desire!!!! Nice bike!!!!!!!
Hi Jack, thanks for your review. I love this bike, would you say its a good bike for 250 miles trips? confortable enough? It would be my first Harley, is it kind of easy to ride?
I've got the 883 otherwise identical to this one apart from standard pipes which I put back on. I find it has plenty of get up and go just can't match the top end speed of the 1200. Totally love the bike hate the indicators but I'm getting use to them slowly.
Bike looks great, Jack! I really appreciate the review/what you say about the comfort/handling. I'm looking at a 2016. Is the chrome hard to keep clean on wheels...engine, etc? I have an IRON/883 and it's all black. A bit worried about having such a chromed out bike. Get those V&H pipes when you can! I have them they keep me safe.....so many texting crazed/snapper-heads on the road don't pay attention. Spokes look outstanding. Couldn't agree more w/you about sportsters. I'll be doing some touring w/my girl...sounds like I can. Ride safe! Thanks.
Hi K - if you get five minutes have a look at my mates Custom Sportster which has a Wide Glide front end and three lorry loads of chrome and eagles - sadly hes not in the best of health and a very good friend fulfilled a lifelong ambition and kindly sprayed it for him over the winter - stay safe - Dale
Lol. I actually enjoy cleaning it!! No not at all. My tip would be to buy a pet dryer on eBay and use this to dry the bike after washing it. That's what all the pro valet uses!
Hi, do you know the differences between 2015 and 2016? Something's changed in this model? Harley says sth like "better suspension and seat in 2016". Is this true? Is this all what changed?
Hey, I have to say I don't ride fast or really push the bike hard. I just cruise. But the grip seems good and I have no complaints about the tires or handling
Funny you say that. I have a 2018 with 4000km and the rear brakes squeak sometimes, and once and once only it felt like fuel cut off under acceleration for a second. Absolutely amazing besides those two nothings.
What exhaust is that? Mine came w it and I have no clue wtf it is. Nm mine are different than yours. Mine have no writing on them at all. I love my 1200c it’s my first bike. I absolutely love this damn thing. I’m going for a ride right now. Waiting for my phone to charge but CZcams isn’t allowing that. My back is fucked too and I can ride this thing np.
Looking for opinions. I'm looking at possibly getting a 2016 harley XL1200C sportster its clean and looks really nice. The only thing is im wondering if im to big for it. I'm 5'8" at 250lbs anyone one out there around my size have one and if so what's your opinion. Thanks in advance
dry509 this is a 2016 however apart from the tank & tyres there's not much difference in 2012 onwards. 1200 is a lot of power and can handle 70mph speeds but feels really good at 60-65.
Dude, I love the indicator buttons on each side! Each to their own though :)

I like the blinker switches. Leave them the way they are.
Just got one, love it. You're right, not fast but incredible amount of low end torque. I got the Rush 3" slip ons and the bike sounds really good.
I love the blinkers on both sides!
Yep, agree about the signals!!
Nice bike and video buddy i just bought my first bike "2008 105th anniversary 1200c sportster"
How do you like it? I'm looking at getting a 2007 or newer xl1200c.
No...Harley keep making the turn signal indicators the way you do them now.
Sportsters are magic
great video, sportster's def best looking harley

I actually don't mind the indicators. I got used to them right away
Thank you, you have confirmed my purchase ✌🏽🤗

I completely agree, the Sportsters are the coolest looking bikes Harley ever built.

Are those mid controls or forward
Hello, nice video. Can you tell me how the tires are ? Do you have grip on it ? Tx
Hey, I have to say I don't ride fast or really push the bike hard. I just cruise. But the grip seems good and I have no complaints about the tires or handling
take the baffles out the pipes?
Get the Mustang seat for this bike. Huge difference! The stock seat with last you 2-3 hours. After that it will turn you into a cripple.
Have you had any rear brake squealing yet or any fueling cutt offs yet?
Funny you say that. I have a 2018 with 4000km and the rear brakes squeak sometimes, and once and once only it felt like fuel cut off under acceleration for a second. Absolutely amazing besides those two nothings.

Which year model is she please?
What year and how much vibration between 50-70 on the highway?

The indicator switch on a Harley is "such an American thing to do"....... well yeah!!!!
Is it a 2015? 2016?
+Lauren hey Lauren, its a 2015 : )
Thank you! +jackwednesday
Define horrible at high speed?
Anything over a tonne
Seeing people saying it can handle 70mph? Are you on crack, it's a 1.2 litre motorbike? I had an 883 which would sit at 95 no bother
Yep. This 1200 will sit at 90 all day long.
What a waffler
Loving your comments Alan 👍🏻
If it works dont change it "indicators" terrible interferance over your microphone and dont fucking swear so much.
I don’t like your language 😱
