    Very helpful video. Thanks Greg. Could you cover the combination of Bricks, Winden and Nintu? Especially with regards to building speed and ease for non professionals? Thanks

    Well done. Like that you showed some work arounds I was not aware of. I especially liked that you concentrated not just on the desktop view, but discussed the other views. Thanks for the explanations on the CSS pseudo classes. I can see how effective and powerful those can be. One question. Did you stay with the default theme settings, or did you customize them at all. Is there a need to, unless one needs very specific colors or typography for a client demand?

      Hey Andy,
      I'm glad you learned some new tips and tricks - there's so much to unpack in Bricks.
      Regarding the Theme Settings, I did change them quite a bit. I mainly focus on the Typography settings. I find it can be really helpful to have consistent Heading & Body typography settings. This makes things like Blog Posts and new page creation really easy -- ideally, you'll just need to focus on the formatting!

    Thanks for a great tutorial. Just one suggestion. In your features section, it might be faster and easier to style one of the features and use copy and paste the style to the other two.

      That’s a great idea - I definitely should have done that! Thanks for the feedback!

    Consider to Piotnet Bricks Addons

      Do you currently use the Piotnet Bricks Addon? If so, what do you use it for? I can do some research and potential add a video for it.

    Thanks for this tutorial, just wanted to make some points:
    I think for many parts like Header design, we can use only one container and use different styles (width) for elements to get the same result, so we can reduce the DOM size.
    I see u didn't use any width for the containers and assume u used the default settings or you have already set those in Theme style settings.
    I'm not sure what is the best practice to define a container's width, pixel or percentage???

      Hey Nima, thanks for watching.
      You may be able to accomplish the header design multiple ways - you could be right that you can do it in one container.
      I do have the container width set in the theme settings. I believe I have it set to 1290px (or something around that width). I prefer pixels over percentages so it doesn't extend too far in ultra wide screens.

    Silly question. How do you get that footer you made onto the page you were building?

    • @GregKarelitz
      @GregKarelitz  Před 2 lety

      Hello! You have to set it as the default footer in your templates! Let me know if this helps or if you need additional guidance!
