This Statement Sounds Like Sterling doesn't even realize its his own fault being on the bench, Guadiola Never Created Any Competition For Sterling, He Has Always Been A Fav, Even Picking Him On the Left Wing Over Foden CL Final, A position Where Foden Was Amazing All Tru The Season, Just Bcos He Believes More in Sterling.
He Claims He wants to be scoring Goals, But His Obvious Fault Is actually Missing Obvious Chances Foolishly, like that Last Minute 1vs1 miss against Dortmund Goalkeeper in the CL Quarter Final.
That Miss Was Unforgivable, If Sterling had started that Dortmund Game, City Probably would have Lost, Bcos His Usual Misses of goalscoring opportunity will end up costing the team.
City Were Very Pragmatist Last Season, Were not creating too many Chances, the little they had, they were burying it with Foden,Gundogan & Mahrez in Particular.
Sterling need 10chancea to score 1 goal. Thats how bad it is Having Sterling play in a knockout Competition.
I thought Guardiola realized that, Untill All City Fans Saw Sterling In the starting Line up, And Believe me No City Fan was happy about Switching Sterling for Foden, Bcos Foden has Been Dangerous in that Position all through Last season & He definitely would have carried that form into the CL final.

Pep clearly likes him, playing him in the CL was telling when every City fan said he shouldn't play, and the fact that in recent matches when he's played City tent to lose is telling, the team has left him behind, I say get his £300K wage off the table and use that plus a transfer fee to fund the Haaland move.
