I hate watching beauty gurus do these types of collections and just go "mmm I love this it smells good" "this ones good too" for EVERY ONE

You killed this video. Best perfume collection vid I've ever watched because you really put the effort into the descriptions. I especially liked you adding day/night descriptors and a blurb about who each perfurme would be suitable for!

before even finishing watching the video I will say that perfume does go bad people! So limit your collection to three tops! This collection is a waste and takes away from quality.
If kept in the right conditions, authentic fragrances can last for several years, so this is not a waste at all. Avoid purchasing fragrances from chemists, pharmacies and particular websites, as most of their stock is grey market. Also, fragrances should be kept in a dark, cool place. (I work in a perfume shop).
I have a collection, that spans 40 years started as a teen ager, to favorite bottles and not scents,found more bottles I liked then the smells. But as to perfume going bad, no such thing, if its the real thing. But what does happen is osmosis, sad but true, so if you collect, do not open. Yes, as Emma said, keep in a dark, cool place. Very nice video.
Emma Dilemma hi. How do grey market's perfumes expiry differ from those sold in perfumes shops? I ask out of curiosity as I have some testers from the grey market(had them for more than 5yrs) and their performance out did some of my Duty free bought ones.

It does sound ridiculous I'll agree, but maybe she took interest in them all of a sudden and wanted to take the opportunity to purchase some at once, I can tell she may of had some of them before thinking of showing the youtubers. The JLo one looks like it's been used
you are soooo good at describing smells! normally videos like this are not very usefull because nobody knows how to describe a perfume but you did study the smells of those perfume and it makes it very helpfull! Thumbs up i love you xx
You know how much I adore you for actually explaining the notes of the fragrance? Most youtubers just use the words 'lovely and nice' and that's it. Really appreciate the extra step of effort you applied.

This is one of the best perfume reviews I have seen I love how you describe them all I live in a small country town in NSW and buy a lot of perfumes online so it is nice to hear them described so well by you

I'm eyeing on see by chloe, ysl manifesto, and jimmy choo.. which one is the most unique, most complimented one? And I'm also looking for the one which has great sillage (yet not too overpowering) and longetivity.. you know, scent that lingers on. Thank you for your help!
Nice descriptions and I liked how you said the key notes in the fragrance that you can actual smell. Does the marc Jacobs dot perfume smell any thing like the Jimmy Choo exotic one? You said that both of them have a exotic fruit smell and I'm getting the dot but I'm interested in the Jimmy one, but don't want it if this too similar.

I love perfumes! Some I would recommend are: Dior's Hypnotic Poison, which is a warm sensual night scent but absolutely divine. Jessica Simpson's Fancy Love, which is a floral but very unique and beautiful scent with some darker notes and it lasts forever. It's so affordable and I get a lot of compliments. Some classics are Burberry Brit, which I used to wear a lot (sharp and citrus-y) and I also love their discontinued Burberry Brit Red, which is so unique and "winter-y" I always wear it around the holidays and it now instantly brings the feeling of being with family and warm sweaters and fireplaces and christmas trees. Lancome's hypnose is my perfect everyday perfume, and I get a lot of compliments from men when I wear it. It's not too floral, not too fruity, the "just right" perfume for any woman, a bit on the sweet side which is why I wear it for daytime. Gucci Envy Me for my diva days (but it's too "girly" for everyday imo), and my all-time favorite summer scent is Fresh Pineapple eau de toilette from Bath & Body Works. It's perfect and light and reminds me of sunshine and beaches.
I'm a young school teacher, and I've been afraid of buying expensive things for so long, but this video inspired me to finally buy a Versace perfume, and I LOVE IT. Thank you, Chloe!

Such a helpful video, the explanation of the notes is so good! My favorite perfume is Chanel Chance eau tendre for daytime and Dior Addict for nightime.
