Years ago, the gays wanted to invite a gay band out of San Francisco to marc in the Saint Patrick's Day parade. The parade organizer a great Irishman refused to allow it as it was an Irish themed parade. So, the gay mayor of Denver, Fredrico, aka "Freddy the free loader" stated that he would not be the Grand Marshal for the parade, unless Mr. Eagan changed his mind. Well, he didn't and instead asked the Mayor of Greeley to be the Grand Marshal. Pena went aplitic over that. Those were the days when people had spines to stand for their convictions be they right or wrong Long gone I am afraid.
