Anyway you were lucky in the US having only UNF and UNC threads, a lot of the world had metric fine and metric coarse. In the UK we had many thread forms, you are probably encountering BA (British Association) and BSF (British Standard Fine), you'll be struggling to get replacements in the US if you drop them, classic motorbikes shops might help🤔. As someone pointed out below, the TE-20 was the English built version with a Triumph/Standard OHV 4 engine with a Lucas ignition. This version was actually exported worldwide(to the Commonwealth and Africa), despite the U.S. built one being know as TO20. Are you sure you just don't got the spark wires in the wrong order did that before tour tractor are all apart and put it back together before I realized that the only thing I had wrong was a spark wires felt like a moron
