I have a 2022 Ford Explorer XLT and I purchased the Black Horse stainless steel bull bar, but to have it installed I would have to cut plastic parts from underneath and I'm not comfortable with that as I don't want to get my warranty void! What would you recommend?!
Does it has adaptive cruise control ?, I purchased that push bar and they specify that it wont work with the ones with adaptive cruise control, I wonder why ? 🤷♂️
I like the explorers cos of the police Interceptors but i heard they have a lot of mechanical issues 😕 any advice should i go with something more reliable or do you thing they dont have any major issues?
The 2wd 3.5 non ecoboost is a solid model but the 4wd had a lot of issues because of the PTU and when you put twin turbos on anything its bound to have problems
It most certainly is, at least here in Florida anyway. I've been talking to the local distributor of Setina products (and Setina directly) with many questions that I've had. They have known from the very beginning that this is going to be installed on a civilian vehicle and even have a different part # just for record keeping of sales to the public.
lol , there are different part numbers because one has lights installed from factory and there is another model without lighting. There is notheing illegal about installing a brush guard on a civilian vehicle.
I'm pretty sure the first thing we do is take the wheel grinder guard off as soon as we get that tool I know I did.
What’s the width of the light bar you put on?

Why did you remove the impact bar? I've seen vids they they it's done without removing it.
This isn't the police interceptor so it has the active grill shutter so to snake the bracket back behind it I had to pop the bar off
How do you like those cut off wheels? I’ve been thinking about trying them
They last quite a while

probably blocks the radar sensor thats located in the grille
@@kc8onr-dan152exactly what I was thinkin
Will this fit a 2019
What is a good estimate for the cost of the installation of a bumper like this?
the bumper for us was 575$ i would probably charge about two hours of labor for it so plan on about 800$ with no lights or sirens installed.

@@medtec6747 thanks for replying, ill keep that in mind
To be clear though I'm not a big fan of the 2021 redesign
The impact bar looks thinner than Chinese version of this vehicle. Interesting...
It thicker and stronger than the metal that it is bolted to so ........
Is that illegal to install on a none police car?
no
