Man the nostalgia here is amazing. I was in eighth grade when GTA 3 came out. I remember going over to a friend's house to play it and being amazed at the dark, rainy city. I bought it on PS4 like a year ago when they released the bundle. I can't wait to play it again with updated looks and controls.

GTA 3 was amazing in 2001 because there wasn't anything even close to it. But it aged poorly compared to Vice City or San Andreas, wich both aged quite well IMO.
The only thing I'm worried about is the music. Hopefully they were able to license everything from the old games, cause it just won't be the same if I can't blare Kids in America while driving through Vice City with SWAT and the military trying to kill me.

as someone that still mods these games today, there are no mods coming close to doing this. everything is way more crisp than anything you can do to the originals, even then the games are locked to a low frame rate. literally unplayable at 60fps. and cutscenes are unchangeable since they are all prerendered.
@@MrInuhanyou123 you can get mods to do just about what ever you want, to an extent. those old renderware engines can only do so much. mods for cover mechanics, news weapons or new cars. new maps or upscaled textures, pc lets you do what ever kind of mod you want.
Rockstar need to actually remaster the trilogy. Was hoping for something more than a half-baked mobile port. They cut ties with Grove Street finally so they should allocate a team to make the DEFINITIVE EDITION we all want. It wouldn't take much if they just work on it during the GTA 6 development with that separate team only dedicated to GTA 3 VC SA. They could then release that to people to keep em happy until 6 comes out, or if it takes longer than 6 could release after
Hey here's something to realize. Rockstar is charging you 60 dollars for what is essentially a graphics mod that you could download on pc for free. Here's another thing, Take 2 has been going after passionate modders, suing them and taking down their projects just so this can officially exist. Truth hurts doesn't it?

They already remastered the Jak and Dexter trilogy in 1080p and they controlled worst then the PS2 games. They were remastered on PS3 and then again on ps4

The PS2 San Andreas used the X and Triangle buttons to control the car. These new versions use the triggers instead.

This isnt exactly remastered they just smoothed everything out

The Graphics are def much better here i also liked ter fact that they kept the cartoonish appearance of the characters but added realistic traits to them
Models look wierd but everything else looks perfect, now all we need to see is gameplay

I love that at 0:11 they made the train track more rounded, yet the train still moves in the same way and even goes off the track.

Gotta be kidding 🤣, right ? This epic fail is just an imported version of the phone games to a PC ... Just take a look at Mafia's definitive edition and make the comparison (if its even possible). This shame is just a cheap way to milk the cow (us) for money for nothing ... Im a rockstar fan but this time im scared that they went to the EA, ACTIVISION/BLIZZARD greedy universe ...

As well as they wanted to keep the feel of the older games into these new ones.
All I can say is that it’s a step up from “expanded and enhanced”

@@om1nous312 mafia is a remake 2020 and you compare it to games from 20 years ago which are remasters..if you're gonna roast them for no reason at least make it make sense, they kept the original graphic style, didn't nerfed it

To preoccupy people from asking about GTA6, they keep re-selling the same games over and over. They already have a trilogy of these exact games in the playstore, and now they're selling the same trilogy, but with more cartoonish graphics.
I am honestly not a fan of the character models, but hey, gotta give credit to them. Not a Rockstar fan either.
