A common question i get asked is how to mark a brushpile or rocks that hold fish and then navigate back to that waypoint. In this video, I demonstrate what crappie look like on side imaging, down imaging, and 2D sonar, how to mark a waypoint , and how to navigate back to the waypoint.

Fantastic video. I think you should make a video on how to prepare for a new lake you never fished. Like studying the lake on navionics and so on so forth to prepare yourself the best.

I can not tell you how much you how to videos have helped me out on the water. I'm learning every day thank you so much. ? Why do you run 4 different sonars. Be safe out there.
It's definitely not necessary to run all four graphs at once. I typically use all four graphs when I travel to states I've never fished in. It helps narrow down large areas of water to locate fish faster.

Haha, I'm headed to Texas at the end of the month for a week trip.
When i cast the market over when it hits bottom i throw a couple half hitches to stop it from unwinding. Do you think that works?
That could work, but the waves are big enough, they will lift the entire weight of the bottom and move the marker
@@FloppingCrappie so just add a couple feet off line before tying the half hitches? Better than not using it
