VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
In this vlog I visited two of the best nature places in Texas called Jacobs well and Hamilton pool. Unfortunately Jacobs well wasn't open for swimming on this day but the 100ft deep hole still looks pretty awesome, Hamiltons pool looks like something that you would find in South East Asia but its right here in Texas! Definitely two beautiful things to see if you in this area of Texas!

Jacob's well is so beautiful and deep! Hamilton pool was even more beautiful! Awesome!

I jumped off that cliff and landed wrong, almost died. Literally. That was in 1974. The place was a super popular swimming hole, over run with UT students. At Hamilton's Pool.
Hamilton’s pool is gorgeous! One of my favorite places ever. I haven’t been to Jacobs well yet, but as soon as it gets warm enough my family’s definitely heading there.

Jacob's Well goes well beyond 100'. I learned to scuba dive there.
Swam at Jacob's Well, Hamilton's Pool, and Blue Hole during the 70's and early 80's when it was free. Growing up here was a blast!!!!

it's so hard to come to this place now, you gotta reserve them months ahead and sometime dont even guarantee swimming is allowed

Gig’em Ags! Texas is beautiful and “riding the river”, being the Frio in Garner , or the Comal or Guadalupe near San Marcos and Gruene Tx is a rite of passage for thousands of Texans. A great place further out is the Devils River north of Del Rio. That’s the standard for the purest drinking water in Texas.

This is an awesome video! I rarely make it through an entire vlog without skipping bits but you kept us entertained throughout. It's a shame you couldn't take a dip in Jacob's Well but the Hamilton Pool is so awesome. The well as well (see what I did there?) Looks awesome, looking forward to you making a video there when you can swim. I love how you highlighted these lesser known things in the US, I would've never guessed!

Texas has many spring fed rivers and creeks. As well around 7000+ lakes many of them being over 25000+ acres. Texas is very diverse and has as many as 28 geographic and geological regions. Unlike many states that only have 1 or 2. California has only 3000 lakes and that includes dry lakes. Good luck fishing those. Oregon 1400, Illinois has only 155 lakes. Washington state and Minnesota have 10,000 but most are tiny lakes by Texas standards. Half of Oregon, Washington state and California are desert. Than people act surprised that Texas is not all desert or that it has so much water.
I wonder if the REAL Texans still say .. keep Texas beautiful, put a Yankee on a bus.. Bet they say put a Californian on a bus now..

These two places are jus a small taste. A drop in the ocean. Some places public is not allowed to go without a tour guide. Jus look up 10 top pools or waterfalls in Texas I can't remember. Balhmorea pool/San Solomon springs is also some place everyone needs to go before they die✌️

Non swimmer here- yes, there are some shallow parts of the pool. :)

Yes. Every kind of venomous snake in the US is in that particular region of Texas. The insects are nuts too

never seen any snakes while in that area or gators either but yikes that was a snapping turtle at Hamiltons.
