Pretty good pretty good, not only him but the band as well in playing similar to how it was originally done. But im 60 and I have yet to hear the deep soulful power Elvis voice had, not to take away from this mans effort but some things in life are and always will be one of a kind.
If you see this message. Look up "Bouke". Shawn is mediocre in his impersonations, but nobody is better than Bouke, who is an established Bouke singer in the Netherlands. He is not an impersonator at all. Bouke stands alone, no wigs, no suits, no fake sideburns.
Listen to those of us who were at those long ago concerts in the 70's. Shawn is it. Period. If you want to know what it was like, unedited, untouched up, go to a Shawn concert. It's what we saw and heard back then, when Elvis was feeling good.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I knew from that moment, that Shawn's tribute to Elvis would take him places and man, has it!!!! Keep on keepin on Shawn!!!

I think people forget that these guys aren't trying to be better, they're trying to reach an audience who never experienced Elvis first hand and are helping keep his music and persona alive. I saw Shawn Klush and Elvis first hand and he touched the crowd in a way i never thought possible, for that brief moment, Elvis was alive again and that's what this is all about :)
There is nobody that will EVER be able too be ELVIS THO. I think that it's so sweet that they are bringing his music too people who didn't get to witness the phenomenal , electricity of ELVIS. He was absolutely sent by God almighty . Best lookin man on this planet & that stands true too this day, and he was jus so very gifted....
Why don't you people cut this guy some slack? Nobody's perfect but I think he's awesome. He's a very good entertainer and has a lot of moves like Elvis. This one and Pete storm or my two favorites. I sat against the stage every time I saw Elvis and unless you saw him in person you cannot imagine how great this really is. Channel might be the right word. It is spooky sometimes. I was concerned last year when Shawn's weight went up that he was headed for the "must explode at 42" syndrome but he came out of it and looked great in Vegas this year. ROCK ON.

Lots of mean trolls here I see. I am a life long Elvis fan. I just went to see Shawn in concert last month and will see him every chance I get. He is absolutely amazing. All of Elvis' associates & musicians who worked with him think so and work with Shawn, too. This sounds great, but is not professionally filmed. Also, Elvis was not perfect. He missed notes and even lyrics in live shows. You can't fix live. Elvis was not perfect. Shawn isn't, either, but he has an incredible stage presence, an amazing voice, he looks a lot like Elvis and he does a very professional show that not only pays respect to Elvis, but takes fans back to a time that was taken too soon. He works his ass off to give something special to the fans. There are a small handful do a respectful show, also. I just prefer Shawn as do millions of others. No need to degrade & make nasty comments. These guys are sincere and are up there giving their all to pay tribute to the best. Of the thousands of folks trying to do Elvis there are only a handful that are actually good and not ridiculous other than Shawn; Ben Thompson, Ben Portsmouth, Cody Slaughter, Ryan Pelton, Dean Z., Donny Edwards. Maybe a couple more. Be nice, be respectful. If you don't care for Shawn or whichever one just move on.

Having seen Shawn many Times here in U K,it's his charisma on stage that makes him the closest to Elvis,lets give the guy a break,he's an ETA,we know there'll never be anyone to replace the King,but in my opinion Shawns Great.

Channel might be the right word. It is spooky sometimes. I was concerned last year when Shawn's weight went up that he was headed for the "must explode at 42" syndrome but he came out of it and looked great in Vegas this year. ROCK ON.
This guy is real good but Bill Cherry is great to my best over all is Donnie Edward's I've seen him in person so I know for sure .He does 50s Elvis 60s an 70s Elvis and he looks alot like Elvis and I always exspect the best for Elvis Presley There will never be another one like him!

Lots of mean trolls here I see. I am a life long Elvis fan. I just went to see Shawn in concert last month and will see him every chance I get. He is absolutely amazing. All of Elvis' associates & musicians who worked with him think so and work with Shawn, too. This sounds great, but is not professionally filmed. Also, Elvis was not perfect. He missed notes and even lyrics in live shows. You can't fix live. Elvis was not perfect. Shawn isn't, either, but he has an incredible stage presence, an amazing voice, he looks a lot like Elvis and he does a very professional show that not only pays respect to Elvis, but takes fans back to a time that was taken too soon. He works his ass off to give something special to the fans. There are a small handful do a respectful show, also. I just prefer Shawn as do millions of others. No need to degrade & make nasty comments. These guys are sincere and are up there giving their all to pay tribute to the best. Of the thousands of folks trying to do Elvis there are only a handful that are actually good and not ridiculous other than Shawn; Ben Thompson, Ben Portsmouth, Cody Slaughter, Ryan Pelton, Dean Z., Donny Edwards. Maybe a couple more. Be nice, be respectful. If you don't care for Shawn or whichever one just move on.

Ben Portsmouth sets a new standard for resemblance, moves and voice. Shawn is good, but Ben stands alone as the best Elvis tribute artist.

@@Cultrix I think Chris is truly great, but I still think Ben is the best because in addition to having the mannerisms, moves and sound dialed in, Ben actually looks like Elvis, leaving nothing to the imagination.
@@steelbraided I saw Chris a couple of months ago & he simply blew my mind. I actually said to him later that there is no way Elvis could have been any better than he was . Unbelievably good. The packed audience of 2500 were in awe. Amazing show,
This guy can deliver an Elvis song like no one else. I am just amazed at the likeness to Elvis. The tone of his voice is so similar. That last note was missing, though. Good job.

@@michelbrousseau9056 I know Shawn because he love music and hear anything his own and people dose just like him or just real quick and he said no one can not see him on stage it's still copycat thing but Elvis never do that but his into klush side of the king in the world probably the one or they're still different places and never returned and he was the king and I feel like Shawn know himself that day and he say some of pill killer is still inside his chest and he can feel it and people don't have to see that way and that's private about Shawn life because of the real man who be done with wrong person here.

I'm a massive ELVIS fan and seen plenty of the ELVIS impersonators ,let's all put one thing in perspective there's no one will take the place of the KING ELVIS, but if I had to choose one in my opinion Ben Portsmouth
Sirgrease: There really is no discussion to be had. Anyone who analyzes Klush's performance honestly and OBJECTIVELY and who knows Elvis of that era, understands that no ETA comes close to re-creating the performance, ease on stage, humor, and every authentic gesture (drugged-like?? I don't even know what that means). I'm grateful that the other 29,999 ETAs out there have a living example (replica?) of Elvis' concert years.
The only thing God didnt give Shawn was Elvis's high vocal range, other than that Shawn, you are fantastic and still the best and ultimate Elvis!
