This is my fav storyline at the moment, it should be played in schools to show kids just how much bullying can affect someone’s life
really varies from person to person. Someone who is big, or atleast can fight back, does not get that much affected, but in this story, liam is a kid, but the others are literal teens and bigger than him too.

It’s part of a traumatic experience. Bullying can lead to things like this. Can give you Anxiety ( a serious case of it too ) & Anxiety ain’t fun. It doesn’t just tap with your mental health or your social skills, it can permanently damage your life & sometimes unfortunately, end your life. It’s an important Topic that needs to be established for the sake of everyone with this Condition & it’s more important for those who don’t suffer with the diagnosis to try & comprehend how difficult it must be for those individuals who have to suffer from it go about through their daily lives. Yes, anxiety is very common & it can sometimes also be controlled ( depending ) But there’s far more serious cases which can actually lead to a serious mental health crisis - in which case, this is Liam’s experience.
Trauma.
I'm 32, I was bullied in school relentlessly to the point that at 17 I was diagnosed with epilepsy, but my trigger isn't lights, its severe anxiety disorder. I still get nightmares/flashbacks. In everyday situations I can get anxious that I have to take a deep breath and exhale slow. But the one place I don't is my job; to put those who hurt me, I protect and help others (I'm a nurse).
Honestly I went through this as a teenager.. bullying, anxiety, suicide.. I kind of thought this was relatively normal to be honest. 😅

Why did it scare you they put a trigger warning right at the start so everyone will know what to expect and Liam shouldn't taken the pills in the first place and why did he tell maria about how he was feeling
It scared me even though I knew exactly what was gonna happen bc of spoilers
Poor lad my best mate killed himself over bullying i know its only acting but it really happens always check your kids phones and ask them if everything is ok ! you dont know what could be happening.

I’m no expert at psychology so don’t be surprised why I’m asking something like this.
I understand Mason did so many things to Liam and because of that, Liam is scared of Mason. But, even though Liam testified against Mason and the thug is now locked away, why is Liam still scared of him while Mason is behind bars?
Traumatic events, ei bulling, tend to have lasting impacts on people. So even once the danger is virtually gone, the ways Liam would have been thinking prior to mason getting put behind bars became habitual. And its a thought pattern he would need to unlearn.
think of it as a smaller version of ptsd, which can cause severe anxiety, the bullying situation has ended and mason has gone but he is still dealing with the trauma and stress of what happened and its manifesting itself as panic attacks
People relive their trauma over and over again and aren't in control of panic attacks sometimes even if you know there is indeed no immediate threat your body still reacts. Like when my neighbour bullied me and watched me and threatened me even after he stopped and became more normal everything even Amazon knocked my door I would shake and burst into tears even tho I knew it was ridiculous
