have you tried using your low carb tortillas and deep frying them to make keto chips?
the basis of all mexican food is the tortilla then deep frying them to make chips for salsa,
and then using those chips in soups.
or deep frying to use a tostada base.. etc

After being on KETO from March to August and losing 82lbs...I took a small break in Aug and Sept and added some veggies, fruit, and whole grains back into my diet. I maintained my weight, didnt lose or gain any. Started back up Keto in Oct and already down 15lbs. That break helped me feel great and I was sooo nervous it would be hard to go back on Keto but it really wasnt. I am all for going in and out of Keto.. but not regularly... I think im going to do like 6 months on, 2 months off routine. I was 400lbs, down to 296lbs.. so I still have about 50-60lbs to go, hoping I can get those off by Spring. Love the video and content. Thanks!

@@ThrewOutMyHalo I took August and Sept off.. so 8 weeks. The only carbs I added back into my diet were from some fruits like melons, peaches, and apples. I added whole grains like Dave's Killer Bread, ( red label that uses monk fruit and only 1g added sugar) Oatmeal, and some legumes etc. I planned it all out and I think thats why it was easy to go off and then get back onto Keto. If you do KETO exclusively long term you weaken your metabolic pathways for carbohydrates. Siim Land has some video’s on that. Think KETO is good to ween of the carb addiction but once that is taken care of and the body heals carbs should no longer be demonized.

I had UTI's for over a few years and on an antibiotic to keep the symptoms in check, well the urologist told me to stay away from artificial sweetners like aspartame, succrulose (splenda) and the like, I did that and it calmed down but didnt resolve, so since I cut out all sugar and those sweetners, I decided to cut out stevia, swerve, allulose, monkfruit all the alcohol sweetners, and yep that did the trick been off the anitbiotics for 8 months now but occassionally when I have them I do feel the symptoms returning. It is weird what sugar and anything like sugar will do to the bladder, I call it a nerogenic bladder, sugar that makes kids hyper make my bladder hyper (nervous). I still want those sweet things...grrrr. one doctor told me that with age comes bladder infections, does that even make sense? There is always an underlying cause to symptoms. Love your videos and Thanks so much for sharing and caring. Theo and Felix are precious. HUGS!

Theo is absolutely adorable and I believe he is already a CZcams STAR. Gifts that I would want include anything to make life easier, last a long time and not need constant maintenance. I read Man's Search For Meaning maybe 40 years ago and found it very inspiring, but I recall very few details. In my 20s and 30s, I was very much into reading books that would answer all of my life questions and help me find great meaning and value for my existence. The books were inspiring, but did not provide all of the answers. Oftentimes, they contradicted each other and caused greater confusion. Eventually, life became a challenge to just live each day as best as I could and hope that it would all work out in the end.

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing that bladder inflammation, what triggers mine is GREEN stuff unfortunately even including lettuce
but also certain spices, pumpkin seeds (but not the butter), any mocha flavored coffee
the list goes on and on - definitely avoid the things you can identify as your personal triggers, for myself, additional exposure made the symptoms worse and worse (couldn’t even sit down without raging pain
).

I took a break from Keto over the summer but tried to stick to Mostly low glycemic foods and still no added sugar natural sugar in Berries or sweet potatoes for example were fine. I did gain 10lbs which I expected to gain some but very quickly lost it and another 10lbs when I started keto back up again. I went off mainly because I hit a plateau at around 170lbs and my body refused to lose refused to lose a single pound more. I'm in the 160s now but would like to get down another 10 to 20ish lbs and then start to bulk muscle... though I'm kind of in the high 160s having the same issue I was having in the high 170s my body has basically been stubborn to lose anything else. So I am thinking of maybe doing the low glycemic thing again next summer. I'm gonna stick with low carb until after the holidays though. Too many temptations for sweets if I go off now. I have a sweet tooth which is why I still avoided non naturally occurring sugar last summer when I went off Keto... I have a tendency to over eat sugary foods... so for me the sugar free options are a better option even if they're still not the best options out there for you.
To answer the Christmas question the most expensive thing would probably actually be a gaming steering wheel for pc/ps4/ps5 I've been having a hankering to get back into racing games again and it's much easier than playing with keyboard and mouse. Middle of road or cheap thing I'm getting ready to DM a campaign in January so I guess some dnd minis and set pieces or a few more battle maps would be nice they're middle of road/cheap depending on where you buy them and their quality. There's some decently priced ones on Amazon actually if you get unpainted bulk minis. Battlemaps the good ones are around $30ish so I'd say that's pretty middle road.

Megha - Your symptoms sound exactly like mine . . . it feels like you have a UTI but you keep testing negative. It’s pelvic floor dysfunction. Ask your doctor for a referral for pelvic floor physical therapy. And in the meantime, also ask for a muscle relaxant to get you through the worst of it (if it’s safe while breast feeding). Flexeril is a miracle pill for pelvic floor tension (and very inexpensive. I couldn’t believe I spent all this money on trying to find out what was wrong and $1.10 prescription gave me immediate relief). It will make your whole body feel super relaxed, but you won’t have that severe pain and you’ll get a great night’s sleep. There’s also a pelvic floor physical therapist that has a fantastic CZcams channel with exercises. Her name is Dr. Bri. Start watching her exercises. Oddly enough, that squat Matt was doing is an incredible pelvic floor exercise I do often. You will get through this, I promise. The pain will go away. I wish you all the best ❀

Megha, what you should try for a little while is a mostly plant based based diet and increase your omega 3’s. Temporarily decrease anything high in omega 6’s. I found peanut butter to be particularly irritating. Anything that’s inflammed in the body would heal better with an anti-inflammatory diet. All animal products are high in omega 6’s, but fish has a higher amount of omega 3’s which would make for a great protein. Also, consuming high amounts of flax seeds (buy whole and ground fresh before consuming) and chia seeds. A lot meaning like 1/2 cup per day. I followed Dr. Brooke Goldner’s smoothie diet to cure auto immune diseases, but I found it literally cures anything chronic or inflammatory related in the body. Eat lots of veggies everyday, especially the dark leafy greens through salads or smoothies. Doing this will help heal your inflammation. Keep cutting out things that irritate the gut like coffee and dairy is also very inflammatory.

Ever since, I have periods of bladder pain and can't hold my pee for nothing. I have to wear poise pads now. It sucks. My IBD, usually tamed with Keto flared too...even on Keto. I'm currently carnivore and its settling down.
